An excellent place to retire. And a great place to be if you love the car scene. There's always something happening in Pigeon Forge and Knoxville has a few sizeable shows of its own. Plus you're much closer to Tail of the Dragon.
Definitely a different sound altogether and the cold starts, while aggressive, aren't quite as aggressive as Borla.
Ours guys love them! They're very reliable and handle incredibly well for being so heavy. But with all the equipment officers carry these days, they are starting to make the...
HA! You did! I recognize your username now. How funny! Those tips completely transformed that truck after getting the of the factory USB ports. I got compliments on them everywhere.
Honestly, this is the best exhaust system I've ever owned. I've been a Corsa man for years and I still love their...
I think it's great they were able to get more power without losing efficiency. But without a major increase in fuel economy, it isn't worth me giving up the Hemi noise.
Mom has a set of these on her Wagoneer and I love them. I particularly like how they're brushed instead of chrome. I plan on picking up some for a summer setup. But I'm gonna throw one of hers on mine beforehand just to see if I like it. I'll post pics here when I get around to it.
No I was just traveling through a neighborhood. Luckily it was only around 10mph or so or it could have done a lot of damage to the trans and parking brake. There's another thread somewhere on the Forum where others have experienced the same thing; some once - some numerous times. We'll see how...
See I just don't know how people are doing that. My commute to the office is almost entirely highway. I keep it around 65mph as well and I typically average 18mpg at best. Usually it's around 17.5. Oh well. It is what it is and I still love this thing.
EDIT: Also, your wheels make me weak at...
Done, done, and done. My sticker says I should be seeing 22 highway. The very best I've been able to get is 19 and that was on an overall decline. I've tried cruise control, no cruise control, etc. Doesn't matter.
I didn't buy this truck for fuel economy by any means. I knew what I was getting...
I think it's because Ram advertises an mpg these trucks will never see. Granted, to get those numbers Ram are probably testing 3.21 4x2 trucks going downhill with the wind behind them. But I'd like to get somewhere close to it. I expected worse mileage with the 3.92 gears but woof - it's been...
My truck shut off while driving(!) last week. Luckily it was at a low speed. The truck put itself into park aggressively and put the parking brake on. When I restarted it, I had low voltage as well. I drove it for a few minutes and restarted it - full voltage. Looking back I wish I hadn't done...
I was born and raised in a Chevy family and I loved every one of them I owned. I've always had trucks but decided to try a car fo a while. Had a tuned Audi A4 that was a ball of fun and got a million miles to the gallon. But it just... wasn't a truck. I decided to get back in one last fall and...
Well, after five months and 7600 miles, it finally happened to me today. Slow right turn in a neighborhood and it died. It restarted and the battery only showed 12 volts but it the truck ran fine. Restarted the truck later and everything is fine. It's extremely concerning especially with no real...
Hey gang. Slowly turning my truck into sort of a Night Edition and instead of picking up some factory black LED housings, I thought about going with the Morimoto Hybrids instead. But I really like the auto high beam feature on my Laramie and don't want to lose it. Do aftermarket lights mess with...
Sprayed my calipers yellow to try something different. It was too cold in the garage so they didn't set well and I'll need to redo them. But I like the look.
My mom has these on her Wagoneer and they're very classy. And surprisingly easy to keep clean since the bright parts are brushed and not chrome. I've been thinking about picking up a set for summer on my Ram and keeping my black ones for winter.
I think the strangest thing about all of this is how no two trucks are the same. I tried multiple sets of bulbs and every one of them had problems. The truck always started fine but after a couple of days, key fob issues began. And they would progressively get worse until it would happen every...
I washed it just in time for it to rain. I knew it would rain but I knew the truck wouldn't move again until the roads are dry on Sunday. Still disheartening but it looked much better than it did before. A new season also means bug season.
