Morimoto is an excellent brand with a great reputation. In automotive lighting, you get what you pay for and Morimoto are top dogs. I'd stick with them for the build quality and excellent warranty.
I still think the Sierra looks better than my Ram and I much prefer GM's 6.2/10spd over Ram's 5.7/8spd. But I love my interior and the way it drives. And until a GM dealer out there wants to try and compete with Ram dealer discounts, I don't see myself going back. I bought mine six months ago...
Had the recall done on Friday and the dealer confirmed it is supposed to fix the shut off during low speed driving. My mom's Wagoneer has the same recall and it's going in this week. Hopefully this resolves the issue.
My Ram never repeated the issue but I did have the recall performed this morning. Dealer confirmed it was for the low speed stalling issue. I had them check for my mom and her Wagoneer is recalled for the same so it goes in next Friday.
Sorry if this has been asked before but I looked around and couldn't find much. Has Ram released the colors for 2023 yet? 2022 ordering has closed and I want to order a 2023 if they keep building hydro blue.
I aimed to buy a hydro blue truck at first. But when I was finally able to buy, they...
I have an appointment next Friday 06-03 to have the TSB done so we'll see how it goes. It's only happened once to me but that's more than enough for me to be concerned.
This is the real answer. Plug-in hyrbids are the most reasonable solution. Most drivers could commute to and from work on a charge and have ICE to takeover for longer trips. The full EV push is a load of bull.
I'd say it has to do more with their business practices than hemorrhaging money. My last DD was an Audi I bought from Carvana and they were great to work with, all except for the title. My temp tag had long since expired when it finally arrived some two month later. They're too big for their...
Agreed. They claimed $10 gas when Obama took office which never happened. The gas companies are all in bed together and as greedy as they are, they aren't going to price themselves into making no money at all.
It's been on my mind. I had a 4 cylinder Audi before my truck that was a ball of fun and got a million miles to the gallon. But it wasn't a truck. I'm eyeing a promotion and if I get it then the truck stays. If not, it will be tough to justify keeping. I don't think gas prices will stay high...
You're joining an unfortunately growing list. Mine is on the list as well. It's unnerving but luckily happening at low speeds for most people. I can't imagine this happening on the interstate. Mine slammed into park and the parking break around 5mph which was very hard on the vehicle I'm sure. I...
It's very likely something to do with the eTorque system and it's very likely Stellantis will sweep it under the rug. Typical corporate move. Cheaper to ignore than to recall.
Mom's Wagoneer with the same identical powertrain has been flawless this far and mine hasn't repeated it yet. We'll see.
The GM Card has saved our family thousands over the years. They often offer up to $5k off trucks and SUVs. I wish Ram would offer something similar. It would do me more good than any of my current credit card rewards.
I've recently learned the value of warm weather and the Hemi. I bought my truck in December so I only got a taste of mpgs based on winter blend gas and cold temps. I didn't think anything of it because every GM truck I've owned performed nearly the same regardless of temperature. Not so with my...
This is about where I'm at in the warmer temps. If I set my cruise at 65mph on level ground and no headwind, I average around 18mpg. After 8k miles my lifetime mpg is 17.0 which isn't terrible. Just not as good as other trucks I've owned. My GM trucks were always very easy to meet and exceed...
I think I'm going to invest in some AMP steps this summer. I'm always the driver in my friend groups and the leather wears out quicker when people slide in and out of the seats. But I hate the look of a fixed running board.
