If you have a concrete parking garage near you, park it in the garage. If you have any friends or family with extra garage space, ask if you can park it inside. If you have to leave it out, and it gets damaged, contact your insurance.

Agreed, if you bought the vehicle new, I wouldn't expect anything aftermarket on it. I'd ask the dealer to remove it and fix the dash.
