This function is certainly not worth worrying with for me anyway.

Just set up guardian. Downloaded unconnect app. Truck starts and I can see stats /data if the truck had been recently started. If it's been off over night or some time it just times out from the app. Nothing happens. At least it stops me from getting hacked and truck stolen most times of the day.

What makes it Alpine? The amp?

I'm not knocking where the speakers are made but they do not appear to be manufactured by Alpine.

What makes these stereos "Alpine" the front center speaker cover? I am going to assume the amplifier is Alpine or the subwoofer? The speaker I am seeing in this thread are cheap Chinese or Mexican made Chrysler speakers! Weird.

I traded a 2018 Silverado on the Ram. Something's about the silverado I liked but what killed it for me was seat comfort ( horrible and got worse) and the boaty ride. I had some issues with the new Ram but love the ride, comfort and overall package much better.

Truthfully we all went into this knowing it was a first year total redo. Took a chance and let's see how it goes. Love the truck so far.

Good luck with the Tundra. All reports they are rock solid. I get the constant issue can turn one away. The Ram is a damn good truck for sure but if to many issue arise no interior and ride quality will make one not concerned and looking elsewhere.

My truck is in the shop for a whine at 46-50 mph on throttle only. It's a 4x2 with the 3.92 rear gear. I was told today their tech support said it's normal and they had test driven a similar Laramie and it had the same whine at the same speed. Picking it up tomorrow and see how it goes. Only...

I guess I didn't answer the question. I would buy again right now. Jury is still out.

Traded a 2018 silverado in on my Laramie. I came to hate the seat(hate a lot) and the boaty ride in the silverado. My Ram is in the shop after 400 miles with rear end whine. Absolutely love the Ram but hope this is not a precursor for things to come. Such a good truck as long as it is reliable...
