Check that everything works. See if he will let you do some interstate driving and make sure no strange noises( rear end whine and ANC drone). Check for any strange smells inside and explicitly ask if he has had any leaks.

How much of the HK system is actually made by HK? I have the Alpine system and the only thing Alpine appears to be the center speaker cover with Alpine badge. The speakers are FCA made. Maybe the system layout was designed by Alpine but the system is chrysler.
Dealer I purchased truck at stated it was " normal noise". Luckily the 2nd dealer I took it to is 5 miles from my house. Davis Chrysler ram jeep in Yulee, Fl. Great job by them. Only without 3 days. Parts had to be ordered.
I can report back that after replacement of ring and pinion set/ bearings and backlash set noise is gone. I have not gotten to over 65 mph but so far dead silent. I would bet 4x4 differentials are a much different story. 4x2 maybe an easier task.
Official issue per technician was " inspected...
Good news is they can keep it until its right. Luckily I have a company vehicle to use.
It's a shame they would even given it back to you worse than it was originally.
The good news on my end is at least they acknowledged an issue and ordered parts. The original dealership said it was normal.
