If your going to haul people around get the crew cab. They could be smaller now. I have to drive in a fairly cramped position to have someone sit behind on the drivers side.
Not going to lie. Just had mine done yesterday and can still see the areas that look like mold lines ( both ends of the slider)or whatever in the same exact place as before. Dealership says part number was different. We shall see what happens.
I think we are fixating to much on child car seat and not on big picture. Sure you can afix a baby car seat anywhere but will it be enough room down the road or even now?
You only get a quad cab if you don't need the space. I have to make myself 5' 5" tall to allow someone to ride behind me. I drive with my seat way back though ( only 6 foot tall). The wife and I do not have kids or have people back there very often. It is nice to have the longer bed though...
The dealership called me and asked me to come in so they can take pictures of the crack. Apparently FCA flagged the repair and needs photo proof of the crack. I will let everyone know how this goes.
On a side note I also checked the part number ordered at the dealership. Part said " tinted glass". Thanks to those who replied about getting non tinted instead of the previous factory installed tinted or privacy glass.
I also have the faint look of an issue on the left side ( looking at it from the inside)of the slider. Almost like a smoothed out area of the plastic. The right side has a cracked line that goes up into the headliner.
Just noticed mine today . Crack top right of slider. Went through car wash( second time only). Noticed water on my middle back seat by head rest. Water was coming out of the crack on the plastic frame. Checked a couple months ago for cracks with none present . I have used my slider window 3...
The Alpine system is not terrible sound. It's a mid level manufacture installed system that works pretty well even though nothing about the components are Alpine.
They replaced a pinion bearing and set lash for my under throttle whine (46-50 mph). No more noise. First dealership also where I purchased the Truck said it was normal. It's not.
