That’s damn good luck man.
Not sure most people have your experience and good fortune
All cars except 3 below were bought new
I’ve owned - 1976 BMW 320i custom turbo, 1988 SPG Saab 900 turbo, 1998 Volvo C70 HP turbo, 1996 Discovery, 2x 2004 Discovery’s, 2013 Juke, 2008 Highlander, 2000...
I bought the 100k 6 year warranty.
Of every car I’ve ever owned only once did the warranty not pay for itself
If you ....
Don’t use the warranty you’ll be happy that your truck has been a good buy and you never had to worry about it despite everything you read on this forum -
If you don’t...

allow me to clarify that I didn’t mean that in a condescending manor. At all. I had to bone up on what the difference was just to be sure regarding this engine. And you likely know more than I do about it.
Someone else put it in ..... as for the gas debate there’s little benefit to skimping on fuel but to each their own. Prices this am were $295 for 89 and $315 for 93 - if you understand how the engine works then I would recommend 89 minimum. But again do what you want. My dealer explicitly said...
If you want to put **** gas in your $40-50k truck against the recommendation of the manufacturer by all means go for it.
Keep your fingers crossed that if you keep your rig it doesn’t have long term detrimental effects.
Calling others uneducated because they disagree isn’t necessary.
You...
Speaking of uneducated, your reading comprehension must have had the night off
The study cited isn’t applicable to our vehicle mm’kay ?
Now try and follow along, some engines require premium fuel mm’kay?
So it matters
The recommendation from the manufacturer says to run 89 but you can run...
Did y’all read the study???
“AAA found no benefit to using premium gasoline in a vehicle that only requires regular-grade fuel.”
And
“For this study, AAA did not evaluate the effects of using regular fuel in an engine that requires premium gasoline.”
******AND MOST IMPORTANTLY*****
“AAA...
I disagree respectfully- I use 93 and it makes a difference in how my vehicles perform.
Your suggestion that 93 is a waste of money isn’t based on any science I’ve read but cleaner higher octane fuel is always better for an engine especially a large V8
I think gas is overpriced to begin...
I did a 550 mile RT this weekend - Laramie crew can with ORP & SP - managed 19.2 at roughly 70mph - traffic was heavy
Good stuff especially with the 3.92 on yours!!
I get this too but I did not pay for anything extra. It’s called RAM VHR and as I understand is part of RAM service
As long as it doesn’t cost me money and doesn’t affect my truck I D.G.A.F - they want to track my truck they can or me through my phone - my criminal days are over hopefully :)...

You are correct!! I found it under safety & something or other. Rear Park Brake Assist
DISABLED FOR EVER MORE!! :)
Many thanks for your help. I owe you one
Best wishes,
HHS
It’s not - believe I looked everywhere. The only thing listed where it should be is to have auto brake on for the ebrake or to dislocate the brakes for service
Shouldn’t it be right here
Self parking was ALWAYS a bad idea - I still can’t figure out how to turn that BS auto brake off when backing up. It’s NOT in the menu. But damn it’s like an accident all to itself
