went to a local exhaust shop here today. tech and advisor recommended i try installing a flowmaster super 10 (i was asking about installing the outlaw kit). so… gave that a whirl, left all the exhaust in… just cut out the muffler and installed that. very happy and saved a boat load.

i use a lot of braid in florida because of the grass, timber, docks, pads, etc... but it's tannic water (stained). big fan of braid, but if the water is clear, i try to use a leader or copolymer or fluorocarbon. i only use mono on my topwater setup.

i'm a decked drawer system guy, with the ram boxes. helps me stay organized, a lot of my tackle is stored in the drawers (kayak fishermen) makes rigging at the side of the lake or boat ramp a heck of a lot more efficient.

looking at the flow master outlaw. i like the sound of it from what i heard on youtube need to find someone local with an aftermarket exhaust to get a better sense. anyone near Tampa Florida that'd be open to meeting up?

i ran an n-fab spare strap in my bed for the 37” (37x12.5x20) trail grappler in my 2500. never moved. thought about doing something similar with my 1500, but it won’t work with the tonneau cover.
