Battery tender will help greatly too. I have another vehicle that doesn’t get used but once a month, an RV, a motorcycle, a riding mower, etc. they all have tenders on them and batteries last a long time.
Everyone's VIN and license plate is available for anyone to see in public. All they have to do is walk down the street and look at the VIN and license plate. Why does posting on a forum make any difference? What information can be found from either of those two pieces of information?
Congrats! Great truck - you will love it!
FYI Your window sticker link doesn't work. Here is a working link https://www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=1C6SRFHT5PN611517
Yep, you bring up a good point. When set to 'Lo' (or Max A/C) the Autostop will not function because the HVAC is in Cooling mode constantly. The same is true when set to max heat 'Hi'.
Maybe you misunderstood. When Autostop activates, the fan still blows but the a/c is not active (the compressor doesn’t run). Very noticeable on 90*F+ days.
I wasn’t aware of this forum when I bought my 2023 Lone Star 4x4 5.7L Crew Cab back at the end of April. I wish I had, would have saved a few thousand I’m sure.
Ended up walking on the lot of Richardson CJDR paying $51k +TTL for it after multiple rebates. MSRP $61k. Lone Star Crew Cab 4x4 5.7L...
The downside I hate is when it is 110*F outside and the A/C stops blowing cold, instead blowing warm-ish humid air at me.
Or when I'm in rush hour traffic creeping along with foot on the brake pedal at 1-2 mph, I might need to press a little harder and the engine shuts off, truck abruptly stops...
Thank you for posting this. I verified my 2023 manual states the same thing. My 12V outlet on top of the dash was on constantly and my radar detector was draining my battery. So, I made the change in the F54 fuse from position 1 to position 2 as illustrated in the manual. Now, it is powered on...
Are the studs breaking the big pain for this repair? My 2017 had the manifold warp and pop two studs clean off. Had to get fancy with a welder and a nut to get them out. Not fun.
I’m talking more about passing on highways more so than 0-60. Throttle response is not the issue. It downshifts quickly once my foot hits the floor.
It is noticeably slower. After the downshift, 50-70 takes forever compared to my 2017.
As far as weight, my DT is 200# lighter than the DS. I tow...
