When I was washing my Laramie a few days ago, I heard water trickling somewhere. Scared me. I looked inside the truck but couldn't find any water inside the cab. Do you think it was just draining under the hood or something? I sure hope that's what it is.

When was the last time your oil was changed? If recent, maybe the oil was residue from the last oil change?

I think you'll like the Diamondback. It takes awhile to get it but it's worth the wait.

Drive safe and take pictures when you can. FYI, tripple check your trailer hitch. My wife's cousin recently moved to Florida towing a trailer with a car on it. It came unhitched and took out a couple of signs. He says the "Jesus bolt" came out, whatever that is. I'd use a lock.

I have had the Diamondback HD (black) for a couple of weeks now. I really like it. I have always wanted one since I saw the first one on a truck many years ago. I also had an Undercover too. It was OK but not near as sturdy as the Diamondback.

What was the outcome of your loose door handle? I just washed my truck this afternoon and noticed the rear passenger exterior door handle was a little loose.

All windows 100% closed with AC on 100% of the time. A few more months and I will switch to heat. Noise level is great from 0 to 80.

Sounds like a great trip. I have only been to Alaska once but it was awesome. You may want to consider getting a TPMS to monitor the tire pressure on your trailer easily. I'd be carrying a handgun if allowed, considering the bear story above. Take pictures and share with us.
