My 2019 Ram 1500 driver's side mirror is shaking. I only recently noticed it. Warranty is out. Has anyone heard if the problem has been corrected? Not wanting to spend almost $400 and have the same darn issue.
It's a no brainer IMO. If they give your truck a little protection and possibly keep a rock from hitting the car behind you or going by you in the other direction, then put them on. I have had them on all my trucks.
I think you are 100% correct on waiting till the orders are fully open. Even though I don't want a black interior, I'd take pink if the prices were around what I paid for my 2019 Laramie 1500.
I don't want black anything in this Texas heat. The lighter interior color was one of the reasons I special ordered the 2019 Laramie. Limiting to a black only interior is a DUMB idea. I can't imagine 95% of buyers wanting black either.
If RAM is planning on major changes, I may buy another RAM just before these changes come out. I like my RAM the way it is. The only things I would change is add 4WD and a locking differential.
I like the additional trip meter for towing, That's cool. Wish my Laramie had that. But I run between 12 and 13 MPG when pulling a travel trailer, about 5000 #s.
It will be interesting to see what the noise is. Many years ago, I had a car that made a clunk noise every time I turned (left I think). It turned out to be the transmission mount had broke.
Wow! That is terrible. Wonder if there is any chance the insurance company will total it? If not, I hope they get it repaired back to like new condition. Good luck.
I talked to the dealer where I bought my, a couple of days ago. They said the can't change out anything on the Ram like that. So, I will go elsewhere for a quote.
It appears we lost one set of keys and the Ram FOB. If someone were to turn the FOB and keys to a Ram dealer, could the dealer determine who owned the vehicle the FOB belongs to? We went out of town and I had back surgery so things were a little hectic.
I did something very similar with my Ram. Several people told me it was impossible. Regardless, I had to pay $35 or so to get a locksmith to come unlock it. Since then, I have accidentally left the keys in the truck and tried to lock it. The truck would beep 3 times to let me know the keys...
