Look into the JBL GX series, 3.5 and 6x9 they are 2.3ohm impedance and high sensitivity, Powerbass also has 2ohm 6x9 but i don't think they fit the front doors as you only have 3" of mounting depth if i'm not mistaken.

On the Alpine system all speakers are 2 ohm, but you don't have to match impedance, there are a few 2 and 3 ohm speakers out there.

There are a few raised spots you can use self tapper screws safely to secure the board but that stuff might be handy in spots where there's none or the board doesn't reach, i used a bracket in one of the corners.

Nice setup but I think the equalizer is the bandaid, but it works until you replace the speakers, I don't know about the HK but on the Alpine they don't even have tweeters, you can make a midrange sound close to a tweeter with an equalizer but no the same. Sent from my SM-G977U using Tapatalk
