Definitely sounds like a thermostat, I would avoid driving it beyond 250F on the coolant side, next time I would pull over and let it cool, you may blow a head gasket at those temps. Need to have it looked at before you continue to drive.
Is this the first time you ever checked the coolant...
What is the digital temp gauge telling you? Setup your your gauge screen to show the 4 different digital settings (coolant temp, oil temp, trans temp & oil press), keep an eye on it and see how high they go, especially the coolant and oil temps and report back.
The cooling fan typically turns...
As mentioned, maybe an aftermarket screen protector, luckily not the delamination of the digitizer, which is very common on these 8.4" Unconnect displays.
Don't worry in the future if it's the screen and out of warranty, it's a relative cheap fix, the screen can be replaced with a much better...
The Hurricane and Hemi are close to the same mpg.
However, the issue is really your Rebel trim. If you un-Rebel it, mainly the 33" Duratracs, and replace them with similar tires (i.e. smaller street oriented) as your previous RAM you should get pretty close.
You still have a 1" lift, but the...
For a budget system this one looks good, it's $800 and designed to replace either the 5" or 8..4" systems, it's supposed to be plug and play, no programming, no change in bezel. If you have Amazon prime, you should have no issues trying it out an returning for any reason should you not like it...
Check the fuse box in the engine bay, make sure everything is fine, including all the bolt connections are tight. Disconnect the battery, open the door and make sure the lights turn off, close the door and reconnect the battery.
Then wait overnight or several hours before starting again.
Thanks for the tips. I rather use the OEM filter though, with me installing them now it's easy to remove, and super clean with my 2x zip lock bag method.
I've owned Bimmers for 3 decades, including a couple of old ones now, I have never seen a "wave". I've seen a lot of no turn signals, that's a BMW thing.
For insurance payouts, they go by market value, which is determined usually by researching current vehicle sales prices on the used market, some value books, wholesale auction prices, etc. Each company has a formula for it. Those prices are based on demand, current condition, mileage, age...
Well you're not wrong, I think we are talking about slightly different things, I was talking about the depreciation curve since new on late model vehicles in regards to insurance payouts, but you are right that market value can go above and beyond the original MSRP in special circumstances such...
Gotcha, makes sense to me now. However, lowering of the price is common, especially with Tesla who will drop a price by $5K on a whim mid-year. There is no loyalty or checks given back there, I would just be happy you got a check from Mazda, I highly doubt anyone else would do that, maybe Toyota?
Sure, but I'm really talking about deprecation, which requires a starting point to determine. From what my insurance company told me, it's based on MSRP, which you then subtract current market value (which is a moving target), and you get the deprecation since new to current.
If your MSRP goes...
I'm assuming you didn't purchase at MSRP to begin with, invoice price? But so many factors plays into the overall deal besides price, like APR, dealer and factory discounts, trade in values, etc.
The changing of the MSRP while it sucks if it's against you isn't illegal. Also, if that value...
I thought the manufacturer can change MSRP whenever they like, it's a suggested price anyways. The dealer however cannot on their own. However, they can put a new sticker on the car the factory authorized.
