Someone around here removed the inserts (took some time) and then painted or had them coated and they looked real nice. A lot of work to get the glue off though. Dipping is much less work and reversible if you dont like it.

Haven't noticed any shake on my Laramie

I believe that is why we have choices for dealerships and salespeople. Dont like one, go to the next.

I have a 5000lb + camping trailer as dry weight and it can be considered a safety concern to ensure stability when towing. Just my opinion but also recommended by the trailer dealer for the same reason. Fortunately I had WDH from a previous trailer so it wasn't motivated by $$, just being...

Agreed. Like mine and I haven't experienced slippery mats even with the snow and ice. For the price, imo, the best all around slush mats.
