Looks good! I haven't personally found a need for the under seat storage, but I would be trying this same thing, rather than paying $100 + for one. Also, what floor mats are those?
I have the DeeZee 4x8 universal. Don't have a liner yet, so I keep it the full length and fold it out when the tailgate is down so I can protect it as well. But I love my mat!

Go red. I love my red accents. I am powder coating the hooks when I get them and still considering going red letter on the tires in place of the white lettering.
They are not an issue if you drive with your fog lights on anyways, but that may not be your preference. I love mine, but to each their own. I have used Alla in the past with mixed reviews. Loved them on my F150, but they were the yellow bulbs.
Here is what I did with the placement and wiring. Hid all the wires and connections under the RAM valance. The curvature is not perfect, but you only notice it up close.
Thanks! I already had all the wires run from my previous DRL setup in the attached picture, so I bought some Angel Eye strips on Amazon and found that they fit great right on top of the headlight housings. I used F60 with a Micro II fuse tap for them to turn on with the ignition. This time...
I was really nervous about leasing a truck, knowing how I like to help people haul stuff. My salesman said it is just part of the the normal wear and tear expectations, but I didn't really trust anything he said. Thank you for your feedback.
It's all good. I understand your thought process and the way you weigh your time and labor vs dropping it off. I wouldn't have started the thread if I didn't want honest feedback. I really value this forum and everyone on here to help me realize my own limitations for DIY projects and for...
Yes, I would take the time to prep the bed properly. I realize it would take some manual labor on my part, but I don't think the prep would be too difficult, especially with the smaller RamBox bed. It would be way cheaper than a professional installation. However, after seeing PowerJRod's...
A lot of good feedback on here, and I appreciate everyone's opinions. I probably should have included this in my original post, but I do currently have a bed mat that protects the floor of the bed, but I do not have anything to protect the sides. That was no big deal until I was helping someone...
I have not found a drop in liner that fits the RamBox. I keep hearing that the drop-in liners will scratch the bed, but what does that matter if it's going to be under the liner? I did see a YouTube video showing where water can get in under the liner and cause rust. It was actually a video of...
I wouldn't think it wouldn't be any different than having a Line-X professionally installed, as long as it looks good after I do the DIY. So I can't imagine that it would affect the lease turn in, or trade in if I go that route.
