I was in for an oil change on Tuesday and showed them this. Not sure how it would have happened, but they said I would have to fix it. There is literally no paint on that section on the bottom of the key hole.
Do you have a picture of this on your truck? I would like to have some additional lighting back there, but I don't want to have to get into splicing wires. I like the idea of battery powered. Also about how long can they stay lit before needing to replace the batteries?
I replied to your question in the other thread you made this post in, but here it is again just in case you didn't see it.

Purchased mine off the lot as well. Love the truck, but I really miss my extended range fuel tank I had in my F-150. Is there even an option for a bigger tank on these etorque engines?
Thanks for the feedback. This video by Farm Dad was pretty helpful in understanding which pins to check on the connector and the truck. I am not extremely concerned about the issue, as far as my one-time use is concerned. I just have to make sure I am driving during daylight hours, since the...
Brand new Airing. This belongs to my church, so I don't know where they bought it from. The have had it a few weeks. The church facility manager is taking care of it. I just thought I would put a feeler out, if anyone had ideas. All the wiring is still fully loomed, so I could not inspect the...
It is not an illusion. The truck is sagging a bit. I borrowed this WDH from my neighbor, and I was trying to do as little adjustment as possible. It is an in-town move at low speeds, so I am not for sure if it's worth adjusting. I would like to see it's sitting level though. Just don't know much...
He will still have better luck finding one for his than I have had finding anything but spray-in option for my RamBox bed. But my DeeZee mat works for 90% of my truck bed use.
Forgot to mention this in my earlier post. This blew when I hooked up the brand new trailer to the truck this morning. Trying to figure out why. Initial hookup yielded left side front and rear marker lights working. Never could get the right side to light up only in the rear. After going through...
Almost 2800 miles since leasing it 6 months ago. My only issues with the eTorque are gas mileage nowhere close to sticker advertised, as previously mentioned, and the brake pedal has to maintain constant significant pressure when engaged in order for the truck not to start back up at stop...
Did a dry run of hooking up the trailer I will be pulling Friday for a house move, and getting the WDH and the aftermarket electronic brake controller dialed in. I might be biased, but they look good together. I will definitely be adjusting the links once the trailer is loaded.
Had this same thing happen to my headlights within a month or so of purchase. Got them both replaced under factory warranty. No more issue for about 3 to 4 months now.
