That sucks, maybe take it to Boerne Dodge instead, they have knowledgeable mechanics that don’t F around. I almost bought from Bluebonnet since they were selling lifted 25’s with ready lift 3” kits and 35” tires lining the front lot of their dealership, and when test driving they were rubbing...
What scanner are you using? I read somewhere here that the aftermarket scanners are not accurately reading and displaying codes. The 2025's need the wiTECH system the dealers use to clear codes which requires a software license and a node locked Mopar Diagnostic Pod or Micropod2 OBD device. We...
TSB 18-071-24 was applied to my Rebel this week. Upon taking it in for the first oil change I asked them to scan and make any software updates that the wiTECH scan finds. I had the cold start stumble symptom but no check engine light. They applied the update as an RSU, and its been a few days...
Update here, I took her in for the first oil change since I have another trip to El Paso over the holidays. I asked the techs to scan and apply any applicable PCM updates.
An RSU was identified by their wiTECH2 scan: Rapid Service Update (RSU) 24-142 / TSB 18-071-24 REV. B
After getting...
And we are back online, apparently all dealers at once had this issue with wiTECH going down. This is significant since the 2025 Ram only can be updated with this cloud backed system which controls the availability of software updates and downloads for all the modules. The Mopar Diagnostic Pod...
Im in for my first oil change now and they had an RSU to apply to my computer but my luck the Witech system went down mid-update and I've been sitting here in service waiting area for hours at the dealer. Just found the status page, that confirms what the tech said. They have to wait for witech...
I unplugged only my main on my SST and let it sit for an hour, nothing I noticed changed to my vehicle settings. Goal was to try and manually clear a code but I think I need to detach both batteries for something like that. Vehicle still had power/lights, console functioned too, remote lock and...
Just got a software update on my uconnect and it now has games and apps like sudoku. My kid said that's cool Dad but you can't play the games on the passenger's screen so it's useless. It is useless, passenger can't play the games with the vehicle moving either and I don't see games in the...
Well just completed my 10 day trip and the odometer is at 3260 miles back home in the driveway. I covered approx total of 1360 miles. Happy to report no issues on long sustained driving at 75-85 MPH and averaged 17.4 mpg and some points in time of stop and go. The stumble I noticed was actually...
2025 Rebel stock with 392. I live in a hilly part of San Antonio, TX and get around 14-15 on average driving around town normally without trying to save fuel, flat highway is around 17-21 depending on wind etc, and most recently drove about 500 miles across Texas on the i10 to El Paso, and got...
I just finished my Rebel's first road trip over the long weekend from San Antonio to El Paso, hauling with my Ram Box's filled up with tools, and approx 400 load in the bed, no issues or codes. Just that stumble on cold start otherwise, a great trip with lots of power, averaged 17.3 mpg at...
Thank you for that, I searched but can't find my particular codes anywhere yet in the TSBs, but the symptom is there without a CEL. I'm thinking to see if the battery thing helps clear the stores coded and under what condition the codes return.
So is it safe to disable both batteries? Is there...
I also noticed the flashing on my rebel when I was in my first couple weeks of ownership, and it really bugged me out. I didn't know what was wrong because I was starting to already read the forums and getting scared about the possibilities however, that flashing only happened that day and it...
Update here I tried to clear the codes and also reset the computer by disconnecting the main battery but I found that the electronics in my vehicle still functioned with the main battery fully disconnected for an hour. I'm not sure if I reset anything but I wanted to throw that out there, I'm...
I don't know exactly, the dealer told me only that they were stored codes. After my visit, at home I deleted the codes with my BlueDriver but then they appeared again right away.
Currently at 1900 miles on a new Rebel. I got a new scan tool by BlueDriver since I have a rumble/stumble at around 15 seconds after a cold-start high-idle startup which lasts only a few seconds. Awesome truck, this is my only issue/symptom, and no CEL, but I wanted to scan to see for myself...
