I think the original question was assuming the motors would get submerged in the crossing. Could make a big difference if the motors are not designed to handle that. I don't know if they are or not.
It's a real check made payable to you. You can do anything (or nothing) with it. I got mine in less than 3 weeks so don't be discouraged by the 8-10 week estimate they give you.

To remove the fluff from carpet and seats, have you tried this trick? Put on a nitrile glove, spray it with water, then rub your hand on the surface where the fur is. Works pretty well for me.
I just finished a 1,000-mile highway trip after installing the Mishimoto catch can. Sorry, I don't have a clear container. The consistency suggests that there is more water than oil; looks a bit like bad coffee.
Good idea. I like those wheel-to-wheel OEM steps but not sure about the polished look. My truck is not "blacked out" so not quite a clear-cut decision for me. Call me crazy, but I like my chrome grille and exhaust tips. But not sure I want that much "shine" down the whole side.
Yeah, I'm just trying to understand if the "winter emulsion" is actually coming out of the PCV valve or if it is mainly oil coming out of the PCV valve and the "winter emulsion" is forming inside the catch can. Just curious.
Just finished installing my Mishimoto catch can. The hardest part was removing the OEM rubber fittings. I used my curved plastic trim removal tools to help pull them off. Worked great.

I installed my Mishimoto catch can today. Installation was no problem. While I was installing it, my ball valve showed up. Apparently there is a link to the wrong part elsewhere on this forum because I ordered based on that other link and the valve won't clear the bottom of the catch can so...
