You can use factory springs from a crew cab and it should lower the rear 2”. It should also retain the same comfort level as well. Unless you have air suspension that’s a little different.
Got the truck back today so only two weeks from when I took it. Apparently there’s a newer TSB/update from Ram. No engine light yet but I do feel some hesitation around 1800-2100 RPM and there has been some audible misfire pop when light pedaling and going up a steep incline. I’ll keep driving...

Not quite simple but they are working on TSB updates.
Yeah I really don’t want to trade in and take a hit. I was hoping ram would just let me switch it for another truck. It’s been at the dealer three times and a total of 6 weeks now. Apart of lemon law, I’m wondering if I should just keep trying my luck on getting Ram to do something else?
UPDATE!
Got a call back from Ram today that they will not move forward with a buy back. I asked them about updates on my truck and they just said to contact the dealer. I haven't heard from the dealer yet after leaving them a message earlier this morning. I need to find out if I'm going to have...
I was looking at the same truck here in TX recently. Was hoping that Ram would do a buyback but so I could grab this bad boy but they declined it. :( Guess I'll trade up in a few years and after they fix all these issues.
I understand that feeling. If I'm stuck with them, I'll just get something I want. If not, I'm going to wait a few months and then buy a ZR2 Silverado.
Man I hope it's only that easy. If it came down that that, I would just custom order a Rebel or RHO. I love the Ram's looks in comparison to all other trucks.
Its just sleek and mean looking..
I believe that is what caused mine. It hasn't came back on since then either.. It's odd though as per the manual it says that the truck should only be reading the oil level while on relatively level grounds.
Thanks for the information didn't know that I could say no or that they could low ball me an offer. I don't want to lose money on this so I will make sure to push back and keep on the lemon law route if needed.
It's odd to me that they can't return your call back. I was actually shocked they called me as I wasn't expecting it. I'll keep everyone updated.
Yeah I doubt they will say yes to a buy back. For them, they will probably see it as a small issue they can resolve. It frustrates me for sure..
I just received a call from Ram Cares from the case manager that is handling my truck and is working with the dealer to get a resolution(If there is one). I was very polite and reasonable with them while going over my concerns and issues. He gave me the steps they would be taking with my truck...
