Replacing the battery wouldn’t have been a big deal to me especially if its the original or more then a few years old. I would have an issue with the ridiculous diagnose fee and then them just trying to throw unrelated parts at it… you pretty much did the diagnoses yourself letting then know...
Who’s ever doing the diagnose is clueless, it’s probably the BCM located underneath the dash. As you guessed it.. probably got hit with some water during the tint process. Has nothing to do with the sensors.. tint unless its dark shouldn’t effect what so ever. Very common potential issue and...
More off road capable… might wanna ditch the 22’s.
Maybe Vice Design has something but if you’re going through all that you might as well ditch the stock fog lights for something better it’s not going to save you any noticeable weight.

So without me going back… have you actually had an issue with the leds on either your headlights or taillights on your Ram that warrants the big fuss? Im not talking about your Tacoma.

Yep let insurance fix it the right way. If they jack up your rates after… it’s time to shop a new Insurance company. I think they do it knowing a lot of people would just accept the increase and keep paying it rather than change whats probably has been working for them.

Just the wrong time of the season to really troubleshoot poor MPG, you have the elements going against you. Wait till spring time when the weather is nice and you’re back on regular fuel and go from there. Meanwhile enjoy your new truck don’t overthink it.

This.
I can’t really say that I have ever seen a led DRL that was out unless it was in a collision.. I’m sure it happens but probably just not common enough. Ive probably seen more halogen one headlight vehicles/taillights running around more then anything but I caulk that one up on a lazy...
Leds tend to not just go out, how many people do you know personally that have had to replace their led taillights or headlight because they burnt out? Bet it’s not common. The pros out way the cons by a long shot… yeah they can be pricey if you have to replace one but in the event of an...
Even that part isn’t the difficult part, a bottle jack and either a cinder block or piece of wood to give you enough height for the bottle jack to work and eazy peazy.
Really hardest part of the whole thing is making sure the trans is within the right temp range during the refill process...
A few things going against it the cold season, you’ll be on winter blend gas, the avg mpg will average out as you go about doing your everyday driving.. idling, short test drives while on the lot could be the reason, it might take some time for it to go back up and always hand calculate.
What...
Ill try to keep this is short as possible..
-don’t pay a dealer $800 to change fluids it’s not hard. Do a pan drop and drain not a full on flush (thats what tends to give issues)
- yes change it even at 78k. Ram says lifetime fluid.. which think about it, theres no fluid that will last...
Ive actually used all three in the past… no issues. Most recently Mopar overstock since they’re in lakeland and closer then the others and they’re shipping prices where quite a bit cheaper then the other and was easy to get a hold off when I wanted an update on backordered parts.
