Great info but I'm not so smart and still confused. Here's my dilemma....
1. Have 22" 285/50/22 load E Toyo AT3'S. Love the tire but super stiff and heavy.
2. Going 20" wheels in spring and looking at P285/60/20 Toyo AT3'S vs LT285/60/20's (load E).
Is the P285/60/20 my best bet for a lighter...
Looking to add some ditch lights and need expert real world info...... I drive on roads with no lights and lots of deer.
1. Are they worth it vs light bar (lower)
2. What brackets and lights do you recommend?
3. Switches?
Any and all feedback is helpful. Typically, I only mess with...
Simple oil change and ABS recall at the dealer.
Did drive a my25 while i waited. The hurricane was smooth but I missed the V8 sound. Glad I ordered the my24 instead of waiting for the my25.
I live in Upstate NY as well and used both Zeibart and Krown. I like Krown vs Zeibart for rust proofing. Seen the Zeibart breakdown and the metal behind is a rusty mess. With Krown, it's only a mess for the first few days (drips). No rusting issues with Krown and nothing is hidden. Also like...
I added some Rekgen mudflaps but needed to reuse the OEM plastic fastner. The one in the front/inside mudflap. Does anyone know what size this is or a part number?
Mine got a little bent up and now my wheel catches it. Need to get new ones that stay flat again. The Rekgen hardware wasn't so...
You should ALWAYS land between 18% to 23% off sticker. This is before any trade in if you have one. You may even get more off based on some factors but if you're in this range, you did good. I was just under 20% on a MY24 factory order and the dealer gave me $2500 more than anyone on my trade in.
I have Fox shocks and also did the SuspensionMaxx end links. Clunk was there. Changed out the bushings with Energy Suspension and seems to be gone. I may get a slight clunk if making a sharp turn and I hit a bump. Other than that, where it clunked before, it has stopped with the bushings.
Finally put on my RekGen mud flaps. I like that they give me some extra coverage since I have -18 wheels. Not a fan of the front screw that is used instead of the flat plastic OEM faster. When I turned my wheel, it rubbed the screw. Luckily, I was able to take out the screw and use the original...
