It is kind of a shame, but today I rode home with 40 degree drivers side vent temp, outside temperature on the truck said 90. A couple of weeks ago my rear passengers asked if I could make the AC not so cold, they even had the rear vents turned off.

Oil filters catch any particulates and if the factory used break in oil that needed changed early, they would tell you so. I would hope!

Looks like he had his AC fixed, so that now he only has the AC design flaw to deal with. The problem we are discussing here is not fixed. Just saying!

Think about the valve or the clamp modification on the heater hose. You will get your smile back.

8-10 degrees difference from drivers side vents to passenger side vents, what would you call that? I'm willing to bet you a coca cola, that yours (if checked by a thermometer)is the same. It may be acceptable to some, but is it not a "flaw"?

Nope, I can be on manual mode with recirculation on and the temp setting as cold as it will go, then push the "Auto" selection and the recirculation setting turns itself off, and the fan kicks up to that 8th speed If that were the case, wouldn't the sound change when you turn recirculation on...

Don't know how many blower fan speeds the Ford has, But I think there is a reason Ram has 7, and if you put system on auto as cold as it will go, it will actually blow an 8th speed. So many variables, but as surprisingly close as the cabin temp test was, just think about the outcome if all the...

Man that pudding is so much better with "proof" in it! That is a good controlled test, driving the trucks would not be as controlled. Driving styles, acceleration, gearing and rpms would all be different. FCA should be embarrassed.

Okay FCA "the heat is on"

I did not need to purge because I did the deed very quickly, and had the hose clamped off. With the engine "Cold" take off the metal radiator cap. Start engine and let idle till it gets up to temp, "with the cap off". Top off the radiator with the engine still running, replace cap.

I did not, I bet I lost a spoonful of coolant and I had the hose clamped.

They really are wonderful trucks, very nice write up. People do come to car/ truck forums for reasons other than to complain.
