The mistake I made initially was when I read "vented" my mind thoght "AC". Which is obviously not the case. But on a balmy day when I'm in shorts; it does the trick. On a balmy day in pants; much, less so. But again "vented" is the keyword and for me it beats nothing

It's great. Submerge it, squeeze excess water out, rotate each side with each swipe until it gets fairly dry - then repeat above. 0 water spots (y)

When I hand wash, I use this on everything including chrome for water spots: Chamois sponge

Size difference is why. The 285/55 filled the wheel wells perfectly imo. The 35/12.5 is wider and wouldve required me to clear the wheel wells much more. The 285 needed only minimal clearing.

Is your USB stick a snug fit or possibly wiggling? If not might pinch the end of it that gets inserted, until it bends a bit and may connect better. It prob wont make a diff but open the fuse/relay box under the hood and firmly push down on everything in there, several mine werent fully...
