    CAT Scale blues?

That's good news. I had the same problem with the torque on mine. I couldn't even find a torque wrench that went that high.

    First camping trip: Success

Did you have the truck running when you tried to disconnect? I haven't had that problem but I always shut the truck off. We have the same problem with shoe storage. Camping World has a good option. It's fabric pockets that attach to the foot of the bed. There's also some nice DIY options that...

When you're looking at your GCVW the tongue weight doesn't get included because it's already included. If you have an 8000 lb trailer and a 6000 lb truck the combined weight is 14,000 lbs. Whether or not they're attached to one another or parked beside each other the combined weight remains the...

You don't need to include the tongue weight when calculating GCVWR. That's just the scaled weight.

I'll throw out my amateur opinion. I think the 3.21 axle limits you to a GCVWR of 14,000 lbs. You have plenty of available payload for tongue weight so that won't limit you much. Probably looking at a max, ready to tow trailer in the 7,000 lb range. Average weight that people load into the...

    CAT Scale blues?

Doesn’t seem to bad. A bit more weight shifted to the front axle is all you need. Maybe a different make of WDH with stiffer bars.

And some more good info on the 10,000lb number.... https://www.tfltruck.com/2018/07/ask-tfltruck-why-truck-axle-weight-ratings-add-gross-rating-gvwr/

Scroll down to "when logbooks are required" It seems that the 10,000 lb number is quite desirable for a commercial operation. The extra bit of payload would trigger logbook and labeling issues. https://www.worktruckonline.com/145897/re-rating-gvwr-why-and-how-its-done

I think the theory of watching axle weights over GVWR is more specific to towing while using a WDH since you have the ability to transfer load from the rear to the front. Your 10,000lb limiting GVWR might have more to do with licensing. It looks like the vehicle is actually good for more like...

No lane sense after windshield replacement

This is what I mean. Not collision avoidance. https://www.repairerdrivennews.com/2018/04/16/iihs-research-shows-risk-of-uncalibrated-front-facing-cameras/

No lane sense after windshield replacement

The lane departure feature that will gently steer the vehicle back into your lane. I have it on my RAM. The newspaper article I read this in was about a different vehicle but the same principle. If it's not calibrated properly it can steer you out of the lane.

No lane sense after windshield replacement

I read about a near head on collision because of a windshield replacement not being recalibrated. Steered the vehicle out of the lane into oncoming traffic.

Best Weight Distribution System for towing a 5000 lb Travel Trailer

Etrailer is a great place to shop and read reviews. I use a Reese Stediflex based on the recommendation from my RV dealer and the reviews on etrailer. I purchased it through etrailer.

Do you actually use your panoramic sunroof?

I didn't care about getting it when I was shopping. My previous vehicle had a sunroof and it was pretty small and I never used it. This panoramic roof is in an entirely different league. It let's in so much light. Sitting in the back is great. The rear middle seat is actually a great place to...

    Adaptive Cruise Contol

I used it a bit while towing. The problem was on steep downgrades. I couldn't tell if it was riding the brakes so I stopped using it when going downhill. Regular cruise is fine downhill, it down shifts and doesn't brake.

Really want to tow this trailer with a 2019 Ram 1500

I'm not too worried about sharing the road with a setup like that. He's in a modern truck with a trailer that's reputed to tow well. He's made efforts to balance it well and maintains a safe speed. What concerns me is the yahoo's driving around in poorly maintained vehicles towing old trailers...

Really want to tow this trailer with a 2019 Ram 1500

Here's a cut and paste from the airstream forums with the cat scale ticket. He's almost 1000lbs overweight and doing well. We love our 2019 Ram 1500 Limited, and we tow our 27FB with it. We have put on over 18,000 miles towing on this combination so far, as we started full timing in September...

Those with problems, would you get the truck again?

I've had mine for almost 6 months and only put 4,000 miles on it. It's been sitting for two weeks and probably won't be driven again until July because I'm out of the country until then. A lease works well for me.

Those with problems, would you get the truck again?

Fortunately I haven't had too many problems. The issue with not going into gear from park has happened a number of times. I had a clunking noise coming from the front right that mysteriously fixed itself. I've had several glitches with the software. XM radio going back to the promo station...
