So like many of y’all I have had various trucks over the years. I’ve always opted for the bigger powerplant with the exception of the EcoDiesel but I went for torque there.
After getting rid of it I wanted better gas mileage but improved reliability and lower maintenance costs. It proved pretty...
The manual fold tow mirrors on my 2020 Laramie 1500 have heat and blindspot. They also have memory but I believe that comes from the module. When I remove them I will have them, the modules and the switch for sale. The functionality can be properly programmed using AlphaObd or the dealer if they...
Appreciate the advice, I went ahead and ordered the MX+, AUGOCOM FCA 12+8 bypass and downloaded the app to my desktop. Will move it to my laptop and install ... I like that it allows you to de-register an old laptop and re-register a new one. My old laptop was awesome ... 10 years ago 🙃
Also...
Sorry this happened to you. While I was looking a few weeks ago I was using this url to look at the window sticker of any truck I was considering: https://chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=<VIN>. Even when working with a local guy who goes to auctions, I would take the...
I presume the module and switch are the same as you listed; Chrome Mirror part numbers I was given are:
Right- 68276510AH
Left-68462773AB
i found a guy on Ebay but numbers are all so different. I wish there was a way to verify them.
I'm 50 and can't hear from too much Pantera and other hearing loss additives from my past but I think the Alpine sounds OK in my truck. It does seem like my 2015 Longhorn sounded a little better but probably nostalgia. I will say that generally OEM systems are overhyped for what they offer ...
That does help to know the website specs listed are out of date ... thank you. Microsoft .NET is a framework that the developer used (likely written in C# using Visual Studio). The required Framework is listed as 4 and the last release from MS was 4.8 back in 2019 (ancient in computer years)...
I’m on the fence about getting the Android version as I’d need to pick up a cheap tablet as well or the Windows version as it relies on an old version of .NET. I have an old ELM unit but may grab the EX or MX.
I sent an email to the AlphaObd contact asking if he needed help updating the...
I've been reading/searching through the forum trying to determine how to find part numbers for side mirrors. I have tow mirrors and would prefer to go to mirrors with Power Fold, BSM, puddle and cameras but would settle for w/o camera if necessary. I tried using a parts site with a specific VIN...

I just call up the month before renewal and pay for a year up front for both vehicles after I had them sync up the dates. Then set a calendar event for next year. They told me it is basic without streaming but I’ve noticed streaming still works but I don’t need it.
I'm interested in this as well, the truck I'm purchasing has tow mirrors and I will likely replace them .... hopefully with power mirrors w/cameras. Then get the required modules, f/r cameras and AlphaObd.
Did you ever find anything out? I’m zeroing in on buying a used 2020 that has what I want but I don’t want the tow mirrors. I will be looking to swap to standard folding mirrors or ones with cameras to eventually add 360.
Thanks for the replies and that’s what I had hoped to hear. My list of gotta haves has made the search tougher than usual in this weird market. The fact that Carvana is picking up my Ranger they bought from me tomorrow means I gotta make a decision. I put a deposit down on one that I like...
Welcome, I haven’t researched these but I read they only released so many of each, the colors were mated to the specific service they honored. As an AF vet, I thought it was kind of cool but in the end it wasn’t what I was looking for. You would definitely have a unique truck, good luck.
I've been looking for a 5th gen Laramie Ram 1500 w/v6, Ram ... I've found a few that I like and some not. I did notice a couple with high mileage and I was curious if anyone here has put a bunch of miles on theirs? Currently the Air Force has me working from home but we are soon to be going in...
As my questions were specifically for the v6 Crewcab, I truly thought it would be a one or another situation. The whole thing has led me to seriously lean towards the one with the 33 gallon.
