Sounds like a noise cancellation issue, trip to dealer may be in order. At least if it will do it they can try something to fix it. Hate the problems they can never replicate
Try rolling window down to disable the noise cancellation system? First place I would start, plenty of cases of it happening with others on here. They may be able to give you something more to go by than that.
The eight speed seems to be much more sensitive than the older automatics. Used to be if you were hauling anything they were never in the gear they needed to be. I have yet to tow with ours but already impressed with the response on some steep inclines, much faster reaction to whether it needs...
F26-ESP module
Also runs traction control.
Not sure if it will cause any other issues, so many systems run off each other anymore. Let us know if it causes issues other than intended.
Thanks! Didnt know those were available without the ram on it. Been a while since I've looked at what's available. I like those more than the black tubular ram ones we were going to get anyway! Was looking at the Westin hdx extreme possibly cause it was a different look and fit tight to rocker...
I agree, I know that why it's not pre wired clear to it. But if the wires run stock to the plug on the frame rail there, why not plug there instead of 15-20 feet of wire x2, loom, and tape to the bcm. I'm assuming all trims must not have the wires there otherwise it would probably be like that...
Exactly, that's all it would take. Or simpler yet to unplug that connector and have the pins that add into the connector if they're worried about saving a couple bucks a truck. Why run clear up there when it's right there
They should, do they come on with button inside or doors opening? They should come on with tailgate open even too, may be a setting to change on radio but I won't swear to that. It should come on though when pressed
Interesting, was laying under ours comparing. Looks like there is another harness (or maybe extra wires) for bed accessory group trucks that plugs in at that big connector in your top pic. Looking at ours there are a lot of wires coming in and not many out, looks like there were two tan wires...
Yes to the meguiars! And dont let them do it, we had a nasty scratch pop up clear across the nose of the hood about a month after purchase (truck that was already on lot) not sure if they just packed the wax to it or what cause I remembered seeing a streak there that wiped off when we got it...
Lol It's not that bad to do, they're decent step by steps. Just watch the pin locations is all I ran into. Let me know if it's been changed in the instructions now, be interesting to know.
