im running the mopar 2” lift UCAs, which I believe is the issue. They allow slightly more droop than stock and they aren’t “higher” like your ready lift arms.
The BORAs are good. If you want even track width front and rear, the rears need to be .25” thicker (0.5” total). Factory rear track width is 0.4” skinnier than front. I went with 1.25 and 1.5. That puts the sidewall outside the factory flares but not the tread. Details and pics in here...
I learn better by breaking things, haha. Not really the cost that I’m worried about, I’m trying to improve the setup. If I just put the replacement sensor on, it’ll get snapped off again when the truck goes full droop, so I’m changing how it mounts. Once my trial setup holds for some tough...
So my rubber bands finally snapped and I was forced to actually fix the sensor. Instead of bolting on the new sensor that I ordered, thought I’d try and modify the original first since it’s basically free right now. Drilled a hole about a half inch up from the stock mounting hole and bent the...
Are you talking about the actual thickness of the spacer? Imagine a triangle: the distance between the lines at half the distance (where the spacers are) is half the distance at the end (where the wheels and tires are).
Are you talking about the torx screw that holds the sensor body to the frame? If so, doesn’t that sensor have a specific orientation that it snaps into? Would like to hear more about straightening it up! Thanks
I have not put them on a 5.7L Ram, but I can give some experience from my 6.2L Camaro. From all of the research, shorty headers seemed like a waste. They were all well advertised and cool looking, but people weren’t seeing much Dyno gain. You probably won’t need a tune, but that also means you...
My routine is click the left wheel button 5 times then tap the first station with my right hand on the touchscreen. Or just mash the steering button 6 times fast. I don’t have 12 stations that I actually like
I’m pretty sure there’s a Rebel on here that was looking to remove the elocker and put in a limited slip. Maybe you could work a deal! Great footage- you’ll definitely feel better with the plates installed!
My front was at 40.5” after the level, so you definitely aren’t maxed out on height. Shorten the front links a little and see if it helps. You are basically at factory ride height, so the bags might be under inflated with the spacers.
You can remove the links, just make sure to support the...
You’ll be able to get a 34 on there (AND in the spare tire area). If you want to do the minor fender trim on the rear of the front wheel well, you should be able to go 35. Unless you’ve worn out the factory tires, I don’t think the 1” gain would be worth the dollars and hassle. With 35, you’ll...
Does anyone know how the air systems in the jeep grand cherokees are related? I’ve found some threads on those, but I don’t know if any of it applies. Possibly some FCA component sharing.
