I have a 2 inch level in the front so I was getting about a 1/2 inch lower in the back, more when I have the roof top tent on and packed with gear for camping or hunting, but I just got some Timber Grove air bags after my first weekend out, pops the back end back up to level and rides great...
For anyone with the Smartcap load bars, do you think it's strong enough to run straps around it to hoist the cap off the truck and then lower it onto a stand for when I don't want the cap on?
And before people comment "just get some buddies to help you lift it off" I live in a rural area my...
It's a sticker, it is a big one and covers a lot, but it is a sticker, there's a whole write up on this Tacoma page about how some guys are "de-badging" it and putting other decals in its place.

Can only answer your first question as those options weren't available on the 2020 Rebel, but if you scroll up to post 123 you will see my Rebel in Granite Crystal Metallic with the black Smartcap.
I had the dealership get my wheels done before I picked it up and flip the tires so the white letters were on the inside, of course now the 2021 gives you the option to have the wheels and skid plate already come in black...oh well.
Those reasons you mentioned of how it looks is part of why I got mine, I didn't want my truck to look like an SUV, I like that it doesn't line up exactly flush and that there are gaps, you still get the best parts about a truck cap but without looking like an SUV IMO, plus it holds 770lbs static...
The bed cap was causing a really bad glare on my rearview dash cam and also making it pointless so I ordered a new mount and a 49ft cable (which was more than needed) and installed it today, now my rearview dash cam is mounted in the bed cap but I can still move it back when I am driving without...

If you look at my post #316 on page 16, I linked a 90 degree cable and mounting bracket I used to mount the rear camera so its centred but doesn't get in the way of the sliding window and the cable doesn't stick out and loop up like that. Might be something you'd like.
You would have to come up with a DIY solution if you wanted that. As of now you have to lock each lock individually. Maybe they will come out with something down the road though, thats the best part about this topper is that is module so you can always change things down the road.
Yeah I got another 14 gauge extension cord and cut the end off of the cord and the NOCO and spliced them together, but the cord I got was too short and I still had to run the heater block cord under the truck, I suggest finding a 20ft+ 14 gauge extension cord that way you can run the cord all...
I've taken it off road to our hunt camp and it held up great, the seals will be no issue, but the best part is if they are the company will just send you what you need and you can fix it in your driveway because its so modular.
and I found this video of a ford raptor going off a jump with the...
I would plan for a couple of hours incase you run into any issues, for the fuse box I used the one under the hood, I don't know the exact fuse but I just tested the ones that turned on when the truck did and picked this one marked by the red arrow (the other fuse connector is for running lights)...
