The Mopar/Fox lift kit comes with replacement UCA's that are designed specifically for the added lift - so needless to say, they look great! Forgot to post these earlier..
IMO the Mopar lift is perfect, i'm not sure i'd want it any higher as then the tire would not fill the wheel well out as...
Once yours is mounted, shoot us some measurements from front/rear center hub to fender.
Mine is as follows with the updated lift kit:
- Front center hub: 24"
- Rear center hub: 25.5"
Right. I am curious though, doing the spacer update versus the updated lift kit - do they come out to roughly the same in height or is the new kit still adding an extra .5" I only wonder this because the updated spacer ring seems to only measure to .5" (assuming that only adds .5" but maybe...
Confirmed. If you purchased the Mopar lift at dealership and the dealership did the install, the update via TSB mentioned above will be covered and no cost out of pocket.
We are very much on the same page on only lifting enough to clear 35s (which most trucks require at least 4-6") and you have the added security of it being Mopar and covered under warranty. My 35s ABSOLUTELY gave the truck the look that it deserved!
This is why I think Ram did their homework...
Something that has been asked is were you charged for the additional spacer or since it has a TSB did Ram cover the parts/labor? Want to answer another user in a separate thread that inquired.
Thanks!
Here are some rough measurements (will try to get some precise measurements soon but I know these are close, if not 100% accurate):
- Front center hub to fender: 24"
- Rear center hub to fender: 25 1/2"
For me the 33's looked wrong on the 22s and I wanted 35s regardless. They were not the cheapest decision, I will say that (1850$ for all 4 Toyo MTs) but seeing them on the truck, now I feel there is no other option then to go 35s from here on out.
I think Ram knew that they could build this...
This is just the quote, they have to use the hours listed by the MFG for the quote - so when ordering anything Mopar, etc it gives a suggested install time.
However, once they begin the install, if it takes less time they adjust - which was done for my case. I also received 30% family...
...Assuming I measured this correctly, I also did it on the fly so I'm sure its close but may be off slightly:
- Front center hub to fender: 24"
- Rear center hub to fender: 25 1/2"
Honestly it is this perfect amount of rake as it sits almost level with hauling my boat and the right amount of...
I have no regrets on the factory 22's. I was deadest on aftermarket procomps but once I saw the 22s mounted with the 35s, everything looked perfect. And i'm more partial to a positive offset so it all worked out.
The ride is like stock as well, even with the 22 on 35.
100% correct on the above. And with that being said, the added 1" in the front hopefully will allow your +5 offset to clear at full lock, can't imagine it wouldn't.
From my understanding, which I will confirm Monday at dealership, it allows for an additional 1" spacer in the front only. Lessening the rake by up to 1" depending on install if adding to old kit or not.
I have the revised Mopar 2" and mine sits at least 1" higher than the other Rams at the...
Honestly the ride is impressive to say the least, smooth, quiet and comfortable. Handles bumps at speed extremely well, although I would expect nothing less from a Fox Shocks/Mopar collab.
I would recommend.
With minor fender trimming I can say I have zero rub with 35x12.50R22 at factory offset...

Note, if you have the new Model # lift kit - the spacer pictured below (#2) is not necessary as the updated shocks are designed with the additional 1" already.
