Please keep us, that are concidering getting a pulsar, updated on the performance and mpgs in the different modes. Under standing that we may not have the same mods as you.
Push the button to select entry/exit before you get to where you want to park and when you slow down to less than 15 it will start lowering. Nice feature.
When I bought my 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid the sticker stated 45 mpg city and 45 mpg highway. We could easily get the 45 mpg city but not over 40 mpg highway.
Apparently there must have been enough complaints (or lawsuits) against Ford for the stated high mpg that was not achievable because the...
I was afraid that the service tech would need to remove the headliner to adjust the sunroof to close tightly but he was able to just loosen the 6 bolts that hold the front glass in place and slide it forward a fraction of an inch, just enough for it to close tightly against the weather...
I've got the 4x4 with e eLocker and love it. When I know I'm in a place that I might need extra traction I just push the button and the light light comes on and both rear wheels lock in without only one spinning and I drive right out sometimes in 2wd and sometime in 4wd.
Antispin would work just...
Rear of Aero mode may be higher than front. Rear at Aero should be the same as Normal since the front is supposed to lower 1/2" but not sure how both will measure in Aero mode.
Would the ceramic finish coat provide similar protection? I would not want to do the entire truck but with the same question as using PPF is areas would use the ceramic finish coat in those areas plus others - would it hold up?
Great article - Thanks for the link.
I put the tonneau cover on so that added to the drag reduction.
The combination of the lowering of the vehicle and lowered air dam contributes to reducing drag but the small amount of drag reduction may not be worth the effort for the little additional mpg...
I have the Air Suspension with the Off Road Group which deleted the Active Air Dam because the truck lowers to Aero mode to reduce air resistance and increase mpg.
The problem is with the ORG the Normal and Aero mode levels are 1" higher than the non ORG levels. The ORG Aero mode that is the...
I would not get too hung up on the problem issues in this forum.
I have the 2019 Limited 4x4 with Air Suspension, Off Road Group, 12" touch screen, Advanced Safety group, Panoramic sunroof, etc. and everything has been perfect so far except for the wind noise from the sunroof. The sunroof...
I had the air leak/wind noise from my pano sunroof. the sunroof would not close tightly against the front weather stripping. When I would push the glass forward when it closed it would seal tightly with no gap or wind noise.
I went through the recalibration process but it did not fix it. I...
Yes, it is supposed to help with passing and the extra will help if you need it.
But back to the MPG - if the eTorque kicks in to pass then it depletes a good deal of the energy power stored in the battery and then must generate the power again to charge the battery - that comes from the engine...
It is my understanding that the eTorque only helps with stop and go with extra torque "push" to get the truck moving from a stop. It that is the case, it certainly would only help "city" stop and go mileage and not highway mileage - it doesn't just automatically kick in during highway driving...
