Coming from a Ford, I would CONSTANTLY leave my keys in the truck. Just lock the doors with the keypad and be on my way. I CANNOT WAIT for the phone as a key feature. I hate carrying keys in my pocket. Especially when going mountain bike riding, golfing, to the gym, etc.
@RamTruckMan That's interesting because I received my truck just before Christmas and immediately checked to see if there were any updates but it said there weren't. Within a day or two I got a notice saying one was available and instructed me on installing it. I think the update is actually...
I emailed Ram application support to complain about how silly it is that their app makes you input a pin every time you want to control your vehicle. It is even worse that if you enable faceid it "forgets" and you have to re-enable it every so often. In the same email I asked about when the...
This truck has little software glitches every so often. I started the truck yesterday afternoon and got these error messages. Drove for about a half hour and then parked it for a couple. Came back and everything was fine. Weird. They both had to deal with the front camera or front radar sensor.
@2025Rebelguy I haven’t really off roaded my truck yet but I have noticed that the front end knocks when rebounding back to full extension. Haven’t really looked into it yet and I’m going to ask my Bro who has a 2024 with the air suspension as well if he notices it. It doesn’t happen often so...
I’m not positive but I’d guess so. If you get aftermarket steps they plug in using OBD2 port. Factory steps have to plug in somewhere but I don’t know/think that they are just plug and play. Only the installer will be able to confirm or you can find instructions online to see what it says.
I went through all the settings on my truck and can’t find anywhere it will let me disable the horn honk on exit with the vehicle running and key outside of the truck.
I drive my truck a lot for work and am constantly getting in/out of it while it’s running. I have resorted to just letting the...
I’m referring specifically to the heated/cooled seats and steering wheel. I know that when I do a remote start the truck will run either heat or ac during the remote start depending on the temperatures outside and then it will go back to whatever I had it set to once I press the start button...
Yes. I turned it on, but it doesn’t turn on that frequently. There was a previous post that showed the temperature settings that triggers turning it off or on which makes sense and probably jives with what I’m experiencing in real life, but it would be nice if it would just remember if I had it...
The screen says "Insert HDMI cable" regardless of if there is a cable inserted or not. Leading me to believe that the plug itself is faulty. The USB and power plugs work though.
Does anyone have any input on the seat heaters/steering wheel heaters turning on automatically? In the settings app I can choose from Never, Remote Starts, and All Starts. It seems to be VERY hit and miss when the truck decides that I should have the steering wheel and seat heaters turn on. On...
Question for any of you with the passenger screen, I’m trying to get an iPhone or a computer to hook up to it. No matter what device I plug in it won’t recognize the cable. The screen just says to insert an hdmi cable.
I have used 2 different cables with 3 different devices, 2 iPhones and a...
I just got my truck and am attempting to hook up a phone or computer or iPad or anything and no matter what cable I plug in it won’t recognize it. Tried a couple different cables. The screen just says “connect hdmi cable”
When you are listening to music from an iPhone/android, I personally don’t like to let it just keep playing in the background with the volume all the way down. Since I mostly listen to podcast and audiobooks, it makes 0 sense to just mute it. Pausing is the only way. Like @Maddoggin said, we...
Hardware buttons to turn stuff of/on and play/pause would be nice. On the Ford I literally never used any of those hardware controls under the screen but I used the on/off button and steering wheel skip forward/back buttons 50 times a day.
