This can be done. You need the mirrors the front camera the harness to each door the harness to the front camera. The image module. The list is long but since alfaobd seems to support the 19 now the programming seems to be less an issue
I have seen on this forum people post their very recent build date truck and still has the same maps. Now that some are getting 2020 trucks they will hopefully post what their software version and map version is. FCA doesn't sell map updates for any Panasonic unit.
They have not released any that’s why it’s not available for the 19 ram. They don’t release them quarterly. They just label it that way.. I just bought them but mine was a 16 and didn’t ship with 17 had 15 on it
It is a curious thing the way they package things. Big horn has it so you would think if a high trim big horn has it naturally the next step up would automatically include it. Guess we aren't smart nought to think stupid.
I think you can answer that if you wanted to. Look at any brand. Ford doesn't offer it. Chevy? Does ANY brand do it? No because they want you to buy a truck and they want you to buy the options because they make money on the trim levels and options. Ford loves the platinum truck sales just...
It will have the same. Honestly I just bought map update from my hellcat and that was the exact same. FCA IS TERRIBLE about map versions. They will not have nay later or newer map version than what is in the truck currently
It would NOT be under your factory warranty, Infotainment would warranty those parts they provide though. The firmware version will typically be the latest . They from my understanding have access to download the updates and install the updates prior to shipping. As far as OTA updates in the...
The 8.4 Connects have the secondary input available. the new rams have a camera image module that takes all the inputs and sends out the correct signal. Jeeps have a coax cable for the rear camera. BUT They have the original inputs available to use. SO it's different. then the 8.4 Rams went...
I dont think there will be. Reason being is they used the cAmera input on the old ones. The 19 they cover is the classic not the new stye. The cameras are now high resolution and use a coax. Trying to use that will be challenging. The old units used a standard RCA NTSC input.
Yes, Most iPhone users though do not have their movie library downloaded outside the eco system and DRM prevents this from being used. So IF you use flex you have to find a NON DRM movie download
You have to be on 12.2 and jailbreak. You have to get an app called carbridge. It allows you to select what apps work in CarPlay. Ive done it and Netflix although it will display does not allow movies to show video only audio due to DRM. Youtube does work. Out of all the ones I tried it was...
I think what FCA New Customer is referring to is he has an 8.4 Uconnect with SAt radio but NO Telematics. I think he feels that he was deceived into thinking it did. The problem is and this was amongst a few people they did not realize that there were some 8.4 that didn't have the telematics...
I am Happy in Texas. I know it may not offer the most in terms of tourism or whatever and the seasons are exactly all represented, but No state income tax and the vehicle costs for registration and inspection are apparently something I should celebrate now I have a realization of what others...
Yeah, any car out of state has to be inspected. In fact any new car when it hits the dealer their PDI includes all cars being inspected before being put on lot to sell. So now you said what you did it makes sense... but yes what you had to do is correct. Had you bought it a dealer in texas the...
Ive been in Dallas County and I haven't had to inspect a "new" car after the first year ever. I dont know. maybe they changed something. They always are.
