This is the 2" Readylift level kit, but I also have an Off Road Package, with 295/60-20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. I think they'd clear without the off road kit.
Installed them yesterday... Love them so far... But it's hard to say after only about 100 miles.... But I will say, with only 2 miles, driving around our rural country block in the dark, I hit some standing water that was about 2" deep at about 50 mph.... It was enough to scare the poop out of...
99% of most other tires are not a silica compound and do just fine... I grew up driving high hp cars etc, and never had an issue. You just need to learn to slow down a little... Lol
But ya, I think they'll be just fine.
I have 295/60-20 Falken Wildpeak tires mounted on some factory Laramie wheels for my truck. Just installed Readylift leveling kit and upper arms on my ORP truck yesterday. Tires/wheels are going on as soon as the alignment is done (Monday or Wednesday). I'll get some pics when it happens.
Just got my 2" Readylift kit today. Going to install it this weekend. Kinda surprised to see the spacers are actually spacers for the 03-18 models... According to the box.
And the are no instructions for the control arms.. Not that I need them, but just surprised me. My new tires should be here...
I thought these were the wheels that the ORP was supposed to get..... They look better than what came on mine. Kind of disappointed with the wheels mine came with.. guess that's why I'm swapping to Laramie polished wheels...
Here's mine... Getting ready for list and tires/wheels this weekend..
I'm getting ready to do a 2" Readylift with upper arms, on my Off Road Package BigHorn. I'm adding 295/60 tires on a set of factory Laramie wheels I picked up.
I just bought the 2" Readylift kit with upper arms for 450 after tax and shipping. Not that expensive for the arms and spacers. Going on my BigHorn ORP with 295/60-20's on Laramie polished wheels.
I don't care about the speedo being off. I daily a Grand Cherokee with 4" and 32's on it. Speedo is off about 5. And my 03 Cummins Dually is on 34x12 Nitto Terra's. Although I did correct it's speedo when I installed the programmer.... Thanks tho!
Ya, my truck came with the ugly 18" wheels with the 32" Wildpeak's. The wheels kill the truck. Not to mention the horrible rake these trucks have. Even with the ORP my truck looks like a 2wd. But still better than a Ford or Chevy. In my opinion.
I hear ya about the gear. I have the 3.92's, so I'm good. The 295/60 just seems like a great size. Especially since I'm using some stock Laramie wheels. To keep the tires mostly tucked under the fenders so it doesn't throw crap all over the truck. With the factory 1" lift, plus the Readylift...
My truck came with the Falken wildpeak at3w (Off Road Package). They seem to be a very good snow tire, and all around all terrain, very quiet, and reasonably priced. Got all 4 shipped to me for 1150. Not that I expect to get that many, but they have a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty. They...
Well, I did it... Ordered the 2" Readylift with arms, and a set of 295/60-20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. Finally, my ORP will actually look like a 4wd....lol
Any pics guys? I just ordered the Readylift 2" with upper arms for my ORP BigHorn, and I'm seriously thinking about the 295/60-20 Falken Wildpeak tires to put on the polished Laramie wheels I picked up. I like the Falken tires, as that's what comes on the ORP trucks. They are nice and quiet, and...
Such a hard decision... I can't decide what size tire (or what tire) I want to run. My truck is a Granite metallic crew cab Big Horn with the ORP, and I picked up a set of the polished /granite 20" Laramie wheels to put on it after I do the Readylift 2" kit with arms. I just can't decide if I...
