Sounds like tesla has had problems with their screens ever since they released the Model S? That being said, have previous owners had issues with the 8" screens in the RAMs? Have others reported severe issues with there 12s already? On the bright side I would think FCA would cover most issues...
I was pretty surprised at how much it dims. Guessing the 8 is the same but once you move the britness dial just a tad, the screens switch from daylight colors to night colors and the floor lighting kicks on. pretty slick. all the little things the dealer didn't bother to tell me about. haha
yeah..sounds like you pulled the trigger a little to early and missed out on the big rebates they have now. picked up my rebel 12 two weeks ago. sticker was 61, got it for 46. Kbb is saying trade in of 43 right now. lowest i could get multiple dealers to go a few months ago was 53.
Agree but man was it a pain in the ***! Haha. The Griots 3 step got pretty good reviews so I went with that. Only complaint is the Complete Compound (Step 1) didn't cut very fast. Had to do some swirls 3 to 4 times to get it out... but on the flip side I'd rather it take a little longer than...
Yeah...picked my black diamond Rebel up on a cloudy day. Did notice a few bad scratches before I purchased it. They did buff those out but wow....did I miss a lot. Swirls marks were terrible....Took it to a high end detail shop by me and they quote 10+ hrs for full paint correction..... Didn't...
Makes sense. Understand the weight difference but even on a flat road at 55 i would think the Rebel oil would cool off towards 200 but it never came off 225. Trans temp being at 200 was more concerning to me. Know the 350 has extra coolers but thought a truck built to tow 10k + would be...
Agree.
Agree. It honestly looks like cheetah print. Haha RAM built an awesome truck and then put THAT on the seat!?!? Can't imagine they continue to put those in the Rebel for much longer.
What dealer update did they do that would lower your oil temp? Took a roadtrip this weekend and saw the same temps everyone else mentioned. Have a GT350 and compared to that my 19' Rebel seems to run hot. Understand they are completely different but my Shelby oil temp runs at 205 and trans at...
Well.... it did happen again to me after the software update but the driving situation was different this time around (first time was flat ground with nothing around). I was backing in the driveway (incline). Put it in park. Got out and realized i needed to move further to my left (too close to...
Had my rebel for just over a week. So far i've been about 40/60 city and highway driving and I'm locked in at 16 mpg. I have noticed that the slightest release of the gas pedal can make the mpg shoot up considerably. I've been leaving my gauge cluster set to the mpg instant view and just by...
Weather was warm enough this weekend to really test out the AC on the Rebel I picked up just over a week ago (early build). Well, the AC "works" but my old Toyota Corolla definitely pushed out colder air. Haven't paid attention the to the driver/passenger difference you guys have pointed out...
Had the issue during the test drive. Rebel only had 130 miles at that time. The dealer did the software update, I purchased the truck the next day and here i am at almost 500 miles and haven't had the issue again. I'll be putting on a lot of miles over the next few weeks so I'll keep you guys...
Think you did pretty damn good. Just bought my Rebel. Sticker was 61.4 got it for 45.9 and a few free oil changes : ). Always like to throw that at them when the tell me they done negotiating. haha
Ended up buying the truck even after the park/drive issue during the overnight test drive. Have just over 300 miles now and hasn't happened again. Hopefully the software was the issue. Worst case scenario, I'll have to do the reverse, park, then drive workaround to keep going. If that fails...
Dealer just called back and stated the flash update they did was regarding the park/drive issue. Thoughts on asking for another overnight test drive to see if it happens again? From the sound of it, the flash update may or may not work from what all you guys are saying
Here's my dilemma. Was on the fence about purchasing the new Rebel so the dealer let me take the truck overnight to seal the deal. Well, that tactic worked. haha but on my way back to the dealer, I stopped to fill up the tank. Started it up, switched from Park to Drive and nothing. Put it back...
Just got a call from the dealer i was going back and forth with a couple months ago about a 19' Rebel 12. MSRP of $61. They would not come off of $53k then so i walked. They started this weekends phone call with $15k/25% off sticker. They are going to loan it to me for a day before we start...
