For what it’s worth...
Anyone planning to use Royal Purple on their change, the RP website recommends waiting until 2k miles before putting RP in. I just hit 1k and was about to change mine before reading their website.
This is going to be a stupid question and I apologize in adance....
Does anyone know the shelf life of oil? I have Royal Purple 5w-20 I bought back in February or March for one of my other cars but I didn’t end up opening or using it. It’s been sitting out in my shed since. Any issues in using...
Same happened with everything malfunctioning. But I was late for a meeting and didn’t have time to sit there and let it run to find out that’s what I needed to do so I got it towed.
Will do that now in the future.
Just got mine back from dealer and they said same thing. Said the battery charged and tested fine. Was just really depleted. I haven’t changed the way I’ve been doing anything so I know I didn’t leave an accessory on to drain the power.
This happened to me this morning. Truck was behaving just fine. Tried to start from my app and it didn't crank so when I walked out I tried the remote start and nothing happened. That's when i knew something was wrong. It was so dead that my car battery jumper, which uses technology to not put...
Just an update on this...
Went by the dealer this morning and they only sell the assembly. So you basically have to buy the whole running board and motors for one side. $600 in parts.
Learn from my mistake and don’t deploy your running boards during car wash.
Yeah. Was trying to get them clean. Stupid decision, obviously. I’m beating myself up over it. Had the truck 2 weeks and it’s been almost perfect other than me being a dumba**
Yeah. Hindsight is 20/20. Shouldn’t have had them deployed. But now just want to get it fixed. Interesting thing is only the driver side came off. The passenger side was completely fine.
Was in a guided car wash and on of their machines ripped the side step off. I had the truck raised to OR2 and the steps deployed so I know it cleared the tire guiding rails. I filed a claim with their insurance.
My question is... does anyone know if just the brackets that connect the step to...
I shared those concerns when buying a limited. Ultimately, I went ahead and bought. When you’re buying new, you have a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. And if you get a dud, states have pretty good lemon laws.
Additionally, you have to weigh the amount of people taking about their issues on...
Fair enough. I find it interesting they wouldn't have told my dealer, though. For the sake of everyone waiting on their trucks, I hope it isn't the case. I was surprised to get mine this quick and would be quite upset if they cancelled the program while I was waiting.
I got my Limited this morning and already planned to get the warranty from my purchasing dealership, but just out of curiosity, I asked them if the Lifetime was going away and they said had not heard it was and they just talked to FCA reps about the warranty yesterday. I think Zeigler is trying...
