I wondered the same thing myself, in fact I also have a thread regarding this issue when I got our 21 Limited.
After I purchased my TRX I found this in the TRX Performance Features Guide:
Hello @NorthStar
So far I’m loving it! It’s not perfect though.
I have just under 5,000 miles on it. I have owned a Raptor in the past and this thing litterally blows that out of the water. It’s power is incredible. (Especially for a 7,000 lb vehicle) The interior is just as nice as other...
I am a born and bred Ford guy that switched to RAM In November. Are they perfect? Absolutely not. No brand is. It is a much better ride, the interior is second to NONE, and the quality is MUCH better than the last Ford’s I have owned. (Lincoln MKZ, 18 Raptor, 20 Explorer ST)
It was actually...
My favorite yesteryear car was my second car, a 1988 Honda CRX. That thing was fun to drive and my 12” subwoofer sounded amazing in it. (Because it was literally a foot from your head.
My favorite yesterday car was the 2008 Shelby GT500. Traded it in on the 18 Raptor….BIG mistake. (Although it...
I’ll throw a wrench in this conversation. My wife took over the 21 Limited and I got a 21 TRX. We both agree, after two months of owning the TRX, that it’s AC seems to blow noticeably cooler than the Limited. I used to use AUTO in the Limited, but when I ran it identically in the TRX it would...
I‘m happy with…..my TRUCK! It’s about the smiles per gallon baby!! The whiplash and accompanying whine of the supercharger make up for it.
If I wanted MPG I would have kept the 17 MKZ Hybrid I had. 43 MPG all day long. (The hybrid didn’t work with the country roads I moved out to so It had to...
Welcome! Born and bred Ford guy here. I switched to RAM this past November and will likely not go back to Ford. At least not in the near future. RAM is the top of the truck food chain right now, as far as I’m concerned. As for the 20% tint, I have the same thing and do not have any issues with...
You’re going to love them. We have them on our Limited and they have held up well so far. We live in the country on unsaved roads and in the snowy midwest.
As already stated, it is the air suspension system. Our 21 Limited does the exactly same thing. Any time you “wake” it after sitting a while it will automatically level itself out. Takes some getting used to for sure.
