I just purchased a genuine BMW/ZF filter for under $90 shipped from Bimmers.com (BMW Auto Trans Oil Pan (With Filter) 24118612901 - ZF 1087298247). Haven't decided on whether to purchase the Mopar fluid from Amazon or Valvoline Maxlife from Wal Mart.
Your truck is doing exactly what is designed to do. When moving, the air moving across the raditor cools it. When at idle, the fan has to pull air across the radator.
CCH, is this still working? I don't have a really bad issue refueling, but it does seem to get worse with colder temperatures and when the tank is nearly empty.
So, has anyone heard from @RamCares lately??? I've messaged them about an issue and haven't heard back. When I searched, I don't see much content from them over the couple of weeks, but I don't know if I'm missing something in the search.
My 2019 Ram 1500 has developed a leak at the rear window lately. I have maybe opened the rear window 2 or 3 times since I've owned the vehicle. @RamCares I've sent a message to see if you can assist. Please check your inbox.
Ok, I know this one isn't new, but it is new to me. My 2019 Ram has developed the rear window leak. I do see the trim above the window cracked at the locations where the water intrudes into the truck. What is the normal fix for this and has anyone in Houston had any luck getting any of the...
The lights have 3m 2 sided tape. The fins of the grille don't allow for anything thicker than these lights. Originally I bought a different set from Amazon but they wouldn't fit between the grille fins. These are almost wedged in between.
So I just got done added adding grille lights to my Ram Lone Star. I think they turned out pretty well. I used a fuse tap on my fuse 37 in the engine compartment. This one comes on in the run position. I think they turned out well. Here is the link to the lights I used...
I just changed out my factory chrome wheels with Nexen tires (pretty well worn) for some alloy wheels from a Laramie with Bridgestone tires. The chromes weighed in at just over 60lbs per corner with the alloys at just over 75lbs per corner. Kind of surprised me that the weight difference was so...
The Gumout cleaner is very good and uses the PEA active ingredient. Maybe adding once every year or 2 is probably all that is needed with quality, Top Tier fuels.
I've only left the vehicle with the dealership for service. I'm not saying that this couldn't happen, but the vehicle is in a closed garage when this occurred. I would think a thief would be looking for the vehicle before attempting the start. Also, why would the thief use the Remote Start...
My son just called me and told me my truck was making noises in the garage. He went out to the garage and found the doors closed and locked, and the truck was running in the closed garage. I had him open the garage door as I was only 5 minutes away and not touch anything. Sure enough, when I got...
Likely the dirt is not in the clear, but under the base coat, so likely wet sanding will knock down the "peak" of the defect, but there could be sand through the base coat, exposing the color of the dirt or the color of the primer. In a previous life, I worked in an automotive assembly plant and...
