expand...Don't read this in an angry argumentative way. I'm simply retelling what I've already said earlier. As well as presenting my exact tests.
I posted earlier that I logged all the fuel that went into the cans at the fuel station. I didn't get the Jerry cans filled with magic. Though that...
Not that I'm aware of. That Pic is from the package options straight from the ram app. Even on the window sticker it says 23 gallon.
I got a mini fuel station I built with a transfer tank. That's how I fill it. The job I work i also gotta have multiple cans to fill the owners equipment up. He...
I'll do that when it's not raining. Regardless of tank size. It is holding right now at least 29 gallons. When it's supposed to be a 23 gallon tank.
Unless the pump at the station was wrong, and the Jerry cans are not truly 20L. Almost 6 cans going into the tank is 29+ gallons.
Hmm didn't think to look. Ill look when it's not raining see if I can see the part number.
Yes I'm going off the gauge. That's another reason as to why I did the second test going to empty. Cause I can only guess a qtr tank is 5.75 gallons. 20l being 5.28 gallons. 5 cans is 26.4. Then the 6th...
Definitely isn't a miscalculation. Measure twice cut once. I logged the gallons at the pump to fill the cans. Which is also why I did the 2nd test thinking maybe a qtr of a tank isn't 5.75 gallons. Then the 3rd test to confirm those findings with a digital measurement.
Problem could be the...
I Googled what 5 gallons of additional fuel means in the vehicle equipment. Saw it posted here in 2020 that it was 5 gallons added for delivery to dealer. I have a 23 gallon tank per window sticker.
The amount at the pump compared to how much I supposedly had left according to the fuel gauge...
Did they say do not use it, or you don't have to use it. Cause I got "you do not have to." That's 2 different vastly different answers.
I my first reply I ment by you have to add it. As in the dealer will not warranty if it's not been added. If it's under warranty, add it it's not gonna hurt...
you do got to add it like the other fellow said. i spoke on the phone with amsoil. with the truck under warranty they said we recommend using the mopar additive.
this is about exactly what I experience. it'll do it in lower gears though like around 30ish mph in town when folks are in front of me are constantly pressing the gas and letting off. I think its something etorque related. if I understand correctly the etorque starts charging when you let off...
the problem is no one knows the cause. I'm not convinced its the mds. I'm more inclined to believe its something to do with the etorque system/engine break. it doesn't have codes it can be replicated, but even full diagnostic's isn't showing the cause. there is a ton of variables. if the truck...
I've learned to go prepared. Anything I can use to prove something. I told them if they come out and tell you they can't replicate I'll be right here waiting to go with to show them. At the time I could make it do it on demand.
I honestly don't know what it could be. I got a few really good...
So I never got any codes doing that. I did get some codes for my uconnect stuff loosing connection. So I think I figured out one problem.
With this abs recall, I took the truck in to get my module flashed. Bad idea as it wouldn't except the new software. So now I gotta wait however many months...
Fair enough, if I really focus on it happening I think I think it's worse. I just hit 7700 an it's definitely not as bad as it was. Once everything is to operating temperatures sometimes it never happens at all. Other days I notice it more often, I can tie that to the driving style of the day...
How many miles? Mine got worse then got better. I made the dealer let me show the tech. I could at the time make it happen on demand. Around 1000 miles it was really noticeable. Since it's gotten smoother. I'll tell you they don't know what it is.
Yeah I guess that makes sense to. Given that it still charges the battery even if it's turned off. That test yesterday was 1 of 1 and only for a few minutes.
I'll update with any info I find, or if I notice anything that looks really worn.
Try also turning off just the auto start/stop. I did that yesterday and didn't notice it. I did notice it down shifts smoother when slowing down for a light.
I might have said it before. But when all those systems are on if I creep to a stop the truck gets kinda jumpy. Turn those off it is the...
I tested it just turning off the start/stop haven't had it do it sometimes it just doesn't do it though. So I'll keep testing. I still think it's something to do with that generator putting a load on the drive shaft.
The generator on my older 2020 with 30k on it didn't do it. All the...
