Instrument Cluster Swap and Reprogram
Getting the mileage and the rest of the calibrations correct is super important when replacing a cluster, so it's not really a DIY thing, usually. You've got to be above-board, which usually means the dealership and those price tags but I'd recommend this company...- QuandAns42

Spooked a little by so many complaints here!
I hear people having these reactions all the time in so many internet areas- whether its a product review on Amazon, a Yelp review, etc. Most people don't go have a nice dinner and then feel compelled to write all about it.
