Not sure man. Maybe it has to do with their warranty status. My dealership is a Premium status shop, so we have a lot more freedom in what repairs we can do without getting FCA’s approval or involvement.

Don’t know where you got this info from, but definitely incorrect. Any tech with an FCA log in and access to WiTech can flash a module. FCA just won’t necessarily pay the tech to flash it if the customer didn’t have an issue that the flash addresses. There are “essential” (recalls, rapid...
It’s a Limited that’s been de-chromed and the grille color matched. The “ducts” (don’t know what else to really call them) on either side of RAM in the grille are separated, whereas on a Laramie or Big Horn w/ sport appearance, they are incorporated to the perimeter of the grille.

Tinted my tail lights with VHT nite shades. Couldn’t stand the red with the gray and black. I think they came out just right. Still need to wet sand them and apply clear coat but that can wait. Definitely going to do the third brake light too, just waiting until I get LED bulbs so I can do it...
After all the modules are reset, configuration restored, and the bus goes through a full sleep cycle everyone should be on the same page. If the font is different after all that, just go into settings > display > themes and change it to the one you want. You may have to let it go through another...
We’ve been seeing a lot of these 12” Uconnects coming in like this. Even after replacing the radio, they still act funny. We found the only way to get them working properly again is doing a reset of the SGM, BCM and radio with the scan tool, then allowing the bus to go to sleep for approx 15-30...
I think they’re a good choice, just not a lot of people are running them. I love the look of the updated Mopar 2” kit with 35x12.5s but I also like a bit more opening in the wheel wells.

Trying to decide what tires to run. Seems like most have 35x12.5R22 but I want to see if 285/55R22 is a size worth considering. I’m going to be running a Mopar 2” lift, so bonus points to those who have that combo.
So far everything is still in production, as far as I know. As for the exhaust piping, a new downpipe from the turbo has to be made because of a change in the after treatment components. Where are you located? I have one of the best guys in the southeast in my “entourage.” Just waiting for all...
FYI, it would be the mode door not sealing, not a blend door. Blend doors are for temp, mode doors are for vent position (face/floor/defrost). Could be taken care of with an actuator calibration test done with the wiTech scan tool.
I’m in Charleston, SC, and haven’t seemed to notice much of an...
Loving all the info on this thread and all the great looking trucks, especially @MagMan1379 because we have the same truck [emoji1303]. Still looks like there is a bit of a rake with the updated spacer... has anyone tried stacking something like a Motofab 1/2” level kit to achieve a more leveled...
Check out TSB 02-009-19. Applies to JLs with build dates 10/15/2017 - 01/22/2019. It involves replacing the front track bar with updated part number 68394087AA.
I believe when customers first started complaining about this issue, engineering was already aware of it and producing a front track...
The TSB 19-002-18 is referring to a clunk felt in the steering. This is a different symptom but still the same repair. My customer did not have a trailer attached but I was definitely able to duplicate the concern at highway speeds. And it got worse the longer I drove it.
As for the Wrangler...
There’s an internal issue with the electric power steering rack. I have one on order for a customer, but they are currently on backorder with an October release date
