    Missing pulley nut?!

Been working on them for 10 years and never seen one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Missing pulley nut?!

The pulley is a press fit onto the shaft. Hemis have pretty much been using the same water pumps since they first came out, back when they had mechanical/viscous fans that attached to them. The threaded portion is where the fan clutch would mate to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anybody running 285/55R22?

Absolute world of difference. I set it on the stiffest setting. If you think the truck handles well now, wait til you install that bar. I always felt like there was too much body roll and this made it perfect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Extra 1/2” spacer plate that sits on top of the shock assembly. Gets sandwiched between the shock mount and the perch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Autodimming Headlights and Reflective Traffic Signs

I wish there was some kind of way to adjust the sensitivity but there isn’t. I got sick of it so I just switched back to manual. Sucks that it’s part of an options package that I paid for and not using now, but I’m chalking it up to a first world problem and just moving on [emoji2373] Sent...

    Laramie TPMS

It can take up to 15 minutes of steady driving above 20 MPH for the light to go out. It usually doesn’t take that long though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anybody running 285/55R22?

So I pulled the trigger on them. 2” Mopar lift with additional 1/2” Motofab spacers up front. Installed the Hellwig rear sway bar while I was at it. Absolutely love the look and ride of the truck, more than when I first got it. Feels how I think a “luxury” truck should ride. Sent from my...

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

Can’t say, haven’t had enough time messing with a Uconnect 12. What kind of hidden stuff are you looking for? There’s usually nothing fun in any of those menus, it’s all engineering stuff or software version numbers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed last night. Mopar 2” lift with Motofab 1/2” spacers up front. LT285/55R22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Hellwig rear sway bar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

Negative. We used to be able to upgrade radios for customers, but now if you want it, it needs to be from the factory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

It’s not a malfunction, it’s a feature. Lots of FCA vehicles do this now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

Lol I love that feature, actually. Pretty sure you can disable it through the radio settings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

As far as I know, yes, they are controlled by the BCM. I just checked a Limited with LED fogs against a Big Horn with halogens and yes, they are the same plug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

I’m an FCA dealer technician, not an FCA engineer. I think a lot of people assume that we are in constant communication with the higher ups at FCA because we work on the product, but that’s not the case. We’re left in the dark on a lot of stuff. Sometimes we see STAR cases regarding customer...

I will see if I can get my hands on one when it comes through the shop and see if I can duplicate your concern Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any RAM dealership techs here?

FCA techs are certified level 0-3. I am a 3. Been with FCA for 10 years in January. We do things a little differently at my shop... we are not a “specialized” shop (engine guys, trans guys, electrical guys)... everyone can do pretty much everything but there are some guys that are better at...

    Deployable Running Boards Safety Features?

The power side steps have an anti-pinch feature, just like the auto windows. If the pup gets caught, they’ll reverse direction, but I’m sure you’ll still get a yelp from him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
