Get the 3:21 limited and purchase an Edge Pulsar Tuner to compensate for the larger tires, give you more horsepower and allow the selection of Gas Saving Mode. Look up you tube videos and see for yourself.
Don't get a tow mirror truck just to move to a 3:92.
Sorry for publishing incorrect info. It has been a while since I did the install.
I climbed under my truck today (in the ice and snow) and I did not install the front backing plates behind the liner.
There is plenty of fender bracing and the front original short liners would not fit between...
Peasey, looks like your truck is a Laramie or above so it has fender flairs. You'll have to pull all of the clips off from around the wheel well and mount them to the liner before reinstalling the bolts through the flairs into the liners. There are two holes in the bed that will need extra clips...
Nice looking truck, but if you have a straight on side view or even a bit more angle that shows the bed it would help. From this picture the bed does seem white compared with the cab. Side view would help make sure. Go back to the original thread you saw us all under and do a reply to the post...
Agreed, my drill was closer sitting right next to my big hammer. The whole point of your post and mine is that installing the full wheel liners is not plug and play. Keeping the structural support for the bottom of the liners is kind of important.
I appreciate your comments and am sure I will get resolution on mine. Bigger concern is all those folks that may not have the voice or relationships to get their issues resolved. Lots of comment about FCA customer support not be any help.
As for my European quality comment. I agree with you...
They are a must to have. My Laramie did not have them so I ordered them from the dealer. There are no instructions so was a bit of trial and error. Finally figured out that I had to separate the oem short splash guards so that I could remount the structural backings to the front and back of each...
2019 Laramie Quadcab
- Pearl White Tricoat
- Purchased December 2018
- Paid $1000 to ship from another dealer.
- 1600 miles
- 600 miles visiting the dealer to address issues
Paint match problems along with a rust ring on rear bumper.
FCA does not know how to paint match light colored paint...
Yours is a nice looking truck. Have never found a ram box on a dealers site in pearl white. Might be why yours is a closer match. Here a a few pictures from my dealer where beds are whiter than the cab. One is a big horn white and the other a Laramie tri-white. You are lucky that yours matches.
Glad for you. Hard to find any currently on dealer lots where bed and cab match. My cab, doors, fenders and tailgate are a great color...just wish the rest matched.
I've looked at the pictures of tricoat RAMs in these threads and see the same issue I have with mine purchased the end of Dec. 2018. The bed color is a shade off the cab color. In fact it has a gray tint. I have looked at 12 white and tri coat truck in dealer lots and all the beds are lighter...
Wild Bill, have you received your tri coat pearl ram? Hope it is painted better than mine and most I've looked up on dealer sites. My dealer is doing a buy back on mine because the paint match between plastic, cab and bedsides are so bad. Another forum member was just offered a buy back for the...
