That is interesting- I considered Mark Dodge on a previous purchase but didn't want to travel down or deal with a local trade. Hadn't considered shipping the new truck and the trade both or even thought of it as an option! When you say theybjaf a guy drive it I assume you mean a shipper on a...
If you are placing an order you should have an option for decal delete (at least that used to be an option on 5th gen). I've also heard the OEM Falkens are not the same and might be non 3 peak rated and lower treadwear.
I've done that before
I've done 2 dealer trades, one local and one they drove about 6hrs round trip for the trade - neither added any cost to the deal we made. Not sure if the fact it is or of state matters but otherwise it is a good option.
My dealer locked in the incentives and rebates at order and then co.pared those avail at delivery and gave me the best deal. I was under the impression MD did the same.
If you take your truck to a dealer or other vendor for an oil change I recommend marking your filter and/or watching the work if you're able. I had a dealer out change and when I decided to change it myself the next time found the original oil filter still in place and stamped "factory...
I've had several pentastars and always do OEM filter and any full synthetic withbthe mopar certification. Important on that filter to mark the position on filter and housing to assist with how tight to re-thread and also make sure to replace the O-rings that cone with the new filter.
I have had 4 silver trucks- easy to keep clean and looking good even with road salt or gravel. The 4th gen bright silver was even better than the 5th gen billet silver.
Yes - at least every lease I have had from Chrysler, Ally and Subaru included Lessee 1st option, dealer 2nd and lessor last. If ther2 is any equity as you approach lease end it makes sense to buy the lease and then sell/trade. I've done this 7 times and if you are working with a dealer using...
What I have done each time is starting 2 years I to the lease I look at the kbb value compared to my payoff quote from the leasing company. If the value is significantly more than the payoff (payoff is residual plus remains payments and some fees depending on the lease) I start negotiating with...
To the 1st question you are correct, if you are 100% going to buy out the lease being over mileage doesn't matter at all because you're buying it. If you turned it in at lease end or wanted to trade it (i.e. sell to the dealer) you would take the hit for the lower than planned value.
If the...
While it is the case the 5thgen site has a thread for other gens it is also true you're likely to find more folks who can help in a site dedicated to 4th gen rams. This entire site is primarily folks with 2019+ 5th gen trucks and there are other sites specifically built for the 4th gen pre-2019...
When you say you perform your own warranty work are you saying you just eat that cost or are you doing the work and submitting proof of your labor and parts to Ram and getting reimbursed?
I have 2 CDJR dealers I have developed relationships with and bring my vehicles to and both have been great for service. This is likely at least in part due to the fact there are 11 CDJR dealerships withing an hour of me but I also think it reflects the relationship I've built with them through...
I'd recommend skipping body color bumpers as well due to paint chips - especially if you drive gravel roads. I also would recommend billet silver unless you either wash your truck every week or don't care about it looking dirty. The red will show everything but the silver is better at hiding...
