So I got all of the speakers put in today. I was really dreading the rear ceiling speakers but they weren't too bad. I am attaching a pic of the tool I used to pry the grills off. Had to do a little modifying of the plastic in the headliner but too terribly much. The new speakers sound great.
I would say time the retract after closing the door. Open the door again and after closing, start the truck the second that the boards are to retract and see if they stay out. Like I said, I think it is timing, if you wait long enough, they will retract before you start the truck. Seems like we...
I think it is just a timing issue. I had 2 F150s with deployable steps, and they were quicker to retract than the Ram. I agree that the moment you start the truck disrupts the steps returning to stowed position. Not sure if a programmer can change the delay on this. I know there are a few...
I am pretty sure those are the microphones for the bluetooth phone connection. I know these trucks also use the stereo for sound dampening inside the truck, so they may be part of that too.
Can you shed some light on how to take those covers off? I just ordered 3 sets of the Infinity's today. Going to replace all of the dash and rear speakers. Doors will be later.
