Best Hard Tonneau Cover for 2019 1500 5'7" bed

It was really easy. The MX4 rails slide over the stock cargo rails. I had an issue on one side, driver or passenger I can't quite remember not that it matters. One rail slid on without issue just a few little pushes. The other rail was tighter, I wasn't able to budge it with pushing it on so I...

    5th Gen DRL's - What's up?

You're correct, that's the way they come from the factory. There is an option in Alfaobd to change the target voltage for the DRL's to a bunch of different options (15 or so I forget). According to the info I pulled on my own truck the DRL target voltage is set at 12.2V. I'm fine with that...

    5th Gen DRL's - What's up?

Sure it can for an extra $300 CAD (roughly). Might be worth it for some people. I personally like the accent lights and wouldn't disable them permanently.

    5th Gen DRL's - What's up?

I personally feel Alfaobd is the better bang for your buck. Not knocking the Tazer by no means but the amount of other things you can do with Alfaobd is phenomenal. Regarding DRL's I used Alfa to set the DRL's to turn signals. Also added the option to the unconnect menu to turn them off...

Best Hard Tonneau Cover for 2019 1500 5'7" bed

First of all welcome to the forum. I originally wanted to go with a Roll 'n' Lock (more expensive than the MX4) but I found out that it required removal of the stock cargo rails and that wasn't something I was willing to do. I ended up going with the Bakflip MX4 and have been happy with it so...

2021 Rebel Air Suspension option - yay or nay

I think air suspension is a cool offering from Ram though I personally have avoided it. Not too big a deal if you have issues while under warranty, however, costly to repair if you're out of warranty. Some have no issues and some do. It's a gamble I personally would rather not take.

    Those with bed covers...?

I never noticed a MPG increase either after installing a tonneau cover, though, I wasn't really paying attention as I get horrible fuel economy anyways. Like most people here I like to keep the bed contents out of sight and plus I like the look of a tonneau cover.

    Magnaflow exhaust

I can't comment on the B2 or the full magnaflow catback as I haven't heard either in person. The 19433 muffler does give a nice deep rumble on the exterior of the truck and is quite a bit louder than stock on the outside. On the inside its not that loud unless you walk on it which is exactly...

    Stock Rebel Wheel Decal

I went with TVD Vinyl. Same idea and they go on pretty easy. The big question is how long will they last.

Performance Pages for a Non TRX RAM?

The options are there for it in Alfaobd. I have tried this with the off-road pages and they never showed up on my evic or uconnect menu. I was a little surprised I never expected them to work without the rest of the sensors present but I did expect the menu to show up. I remember watching a...

Putco 18" Blades and Blinker Syncing

I installed this tailgate light bar last week and used the exact same method you did. There's a slight delay with the turn signals but nothing drastic. I'm generally not a fan of the 60" versions so I'm glad I came across this one, very happy with it so far.

    Remote start climate control

Yeah I was getting annoyed with having to immediately turn off the heated seats everytime I got in the truck for the past 2 weeks or so. Than it dawned on me, I can disable it altogether so no more annoyance! Yeah I don't know what it is exactly, most people love heated seats, but I just find...

Replacing my TOW mirrors with Power Folding - 10% Cyber Monday

And all I say to that is it's about freakin' time! I could tolerate the tow mirrors if they power folded.

LUYED LED- New (Frugal) LED Reverse Light.

Totally agree with this post. I would never use a t-tap and soldering/heatshrink is always the best method of splicing wires. For those who don't know how to solder (or have access to one) you can also use small marettes and fill them with silicon or wrap them with self fusing tape and you will...

    Any Issues/Regrets so far?

2020 Rebel with zero regrets. Love it as a daily driver. Wish it had another 1000 lb/ft of torque and 50mpg but oh well.

Update: DO NOT BUY RAM WITH RAMBOX - Warping and Alignment Issue with 2019 Rams

As long as I own a Ram it will have Ramboxes. Sure the fitment might not be perfect and certain people experience it worse than others. The fitment on mine is pretty good and I use them daily. The 120V receptacle in there is a huge bonus for me as well. If I ever switch to another brand down the...

My turn to complain about the dreaded rear window leak (2020)

This is a pretty common issue on many vehicles with a 3rd brake light. I had this happen on my '08 Tundra. I just put some clear silicon around it and it stopped it from leaking. I did a preemptive strike on my '14 Ram as a just in case. I haven't done this to my '20 Rebel yet but I will. I did...

Got in an accident last night - here are a few things I wish I tried out before

Wow, thanks for sharing this as well I was totally unaware. That is a pretty rare and freakish incident.

    Remote start climate control

And on that note I disabled mine this morning. I love the heated steering wheel but I just can't jive with heated seats.

Sorry to hear this. Thanks for sharing the info and it sounds like you're okay which is the most important outcome from any accident.
