I wish! Primarily have flown single light turbines. SA341 Gazelle, EC120, Schweitzer 333, UH1, MD 500/530, etc. Would love to fly something like a CH or Blackhawk.
Do/did you fly?
You were one of the lucky ones! I know many had great reliability and longevity.
I loved it too until it started $100 and $ 1000 dollaring me to the poor house! FICM, High Pressure oil pump STC fitting failure, injector orings and and EGR cooler in 78k miles!
So.... 10-12 years ago I just had to build the giant dream truck I always wanted. 2005 F350 with an 8 inch Rize lift and 37's on 20's. Unfortunately, it had the now infamous "6.Oh no!" Powerstroke in it. Sure did look good sitting by the side of the road, waiting for the flatbed tow truck, in...
Installed rear wheelhouse liners. Boy, it sure is amazing how thin they are. I remember putting them on my 2000 and they were thick plastic! Guess they gotta keep the weight and cost down..... thankfully they do afford full coverage protection.
I bought one from Commie Freight Tools ( the store that is owned by the P.R.C. with all the cheap tools, my opinion) that works well. Price was right. Costco has some good ones too. https://www.harborfreight.com/4-ton-professional-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-orange-64201.html
After owning a 95, 97, 98, 2000 and 2002 I was a little sad the cross hair grill was gone.. however, the rest of the truck is so classy and stunning, I knew I had to have one. I resisted for about 5 months, then took a test drive. Almost instantly, my paid for 2011 Tundra, with only 55k was...
Welcome and congratulations on your new truck! I just joined the RAM gang a month ago and can tell you this is THE place to be for info on your new ride. Great group of people and lots of good advice.
It is a DYI Ceramic coating. Took alot of time and work but the effort was well worth it! Especially on a black vehicle.

Been busy! I spent about 15 hours this weekend claying the paint, polishing with a D/A polisher and Megs 210 compound, CSL ceramic paint coating followed by two coats of EXO V4. Apparently, I got the deluxe dealer installed scratch and swirl mark package that included bonus hard water...
I love my RAM! So much nicer that my 2011 Tundra. Got spoiled driving the Chargers when I travel for work. The RAM is like driving a Charger but in truck form so I can haul my dirt bike and pull my travel trailer! Best thing I have done for myself in years!
Been riding and racing motorcycles for 45 years, lifelong addiction! Currently have a 2018 Husqvarna FE501 and my trusty 1988 Honda Hawk GT I've had for ever.
I washed for the 1st time! Going to debadge and do some minor paint correction followed by Gtechnic CSL this weekend. Will also Plasti-Dip wheels as a stopgap until I can afford something else.
Loving this girl so far!
Just ordered the GTechnic Crystal Serum lite/EXO 4 kit. What kind of pad did you use on your DA and which towels from Amazon? Was looking at The Rag Company "The Pearl Professional" rags on amazon but reviews say they leave alot of lint. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!
