Thank you, this is helpful.
Quick question, and a request if you don't mind:
1. Is the final inspection conducted by UAW or company employed personnel?
2. Do you have or know of an online page that translates the 3-letter codes to the actual description? The waitingforjeep tracker has all the...
Mark Dodge was pretty much identical to Koons on my latest (2024) quote, but Koons is only 5 hours away from me, whereas Mark is more like 24 hours drive back, so I went with Koons. Both were a pleasure to deal with however.
All I want is for my truck to preferably clear the assembly line before the strike, or less preferably get delayed until after the strike. But definitely not gets stuck on the assembly line as the strike hits. I can already foresee how many issues I will have with it if it's left half built as...
Thank you. I assume the "In production - 9/1" status was reflected on 9/1? or did it change to "in production" after 9/1, showing that date retroactively?

I signed up to the doc as well, but haven't seen anything. My understanding is that by providing the VIN, you'll be notified whenever your VIN is flagged going through the stages. I didn't get any updates when my order went from Confirmed to Scheduled.
Same exact scenario... Went D1 on 8/30th, and this is what my dealer just pulled out...
9/17 ship date... That puts that sucker right smack in the middle of assembly on 9/14...
I sure hope so but from other people's timeline here, it seems production has started between 16-18 days post D1 date. That said, I rather get stuck waiting longer until after the strike no matter how long it is, than have them start earlier and abandon it halfway on the assembly line.
Hi all,
I was wondering what's everyone's exeprience been with their local dealer's service dept. I have a couple of them in my vicinity, and while their sales departments seem to be good, their service depts. have absolutely atrocious reviews. Zero customer service, ghosting, etc.
Coming from...
Ugh.... looks like my timeline puts my truck right on track to be in the middle of assembly when the strike hits. Can only imagine how many issues I'll be having with it as a result of disgruntled UAW employees...
