I intend to stick with RAM but for fun was looking at the '24 Ford website. Must admit the site is very complete on their products. Very competitive truck market and great features all around. Has anyone come over from Ford and reasons or even thinking of going back? As to reliability RAM seems...
A month or two for a Laramie. Guess I better put my impatience and any order on hold. At that rate won’t see Limited or Tungsten at dealers till mid summer. Wonder if you folks who have preordered will be ahead of dealer inventory? That would answer a few questions for me.
I read this awhile back. "In a notable decision reflecting the evolving dynamics of the automotive industry, Stellantis has formerly announced its withdrawal from the North American auto show circuit," (Jan. 7, 2024). Elsewhere I read that dealers may determine where the RAM will be shown and/or...
We have a a similar issue. I intend to order a Limited but have no use whatsoever for another screen in my life, the passenger screen, and the loss of valuable accessible cabin storage. It should be an option also.
As to the Ram Boxes they are worth the value of the truck to me (well almost)...
I agree firecadkt. But I really dislike having a passenger screen on the upper models, and I know the driver can't see it. Make it an option. Enough screens in our lives. Maybe the passenger can enjoy the ride, see the scenery even have a conversation. Besides the passenger will have a phone...
Don't do enough off road to warrant the "group" but like your points on the headlights as I am in deer country. I'm clearly leaning towards the Limited and the HO, just don't see a need for the passenger screen. Do like the Night Edition and the black wheels.
I see my '15 Laramie had Bi-Function Halogen Projector headlights. Not sure how that differs from the Limited Bi-Function LED headlamps now listed on the Laramie or the difference it makes. I know they have improved somewhat with less glare and better coverage.
May want the night edition, not sure 22" tires is big issues but I do fair amount of distance driving, some gravel, and maybe 20" a little more forgiving on rough roads. Definitely have no need for the passenger screen and appears to take up room I like for glove boxes. Not opposed to the HO...
Does anyone know if items can be deleted on the '25 Limited? If I load up a Laramie with what I want it comes out close to the Limited price, many items already included on the Limited. On the other hand I do not want the "passenger display" and maybe not 22" tires included on the Limited. The...
I would also question that grill as it looks more like a Laramie. The Limited from the pics I've seen does not have that oval on either side of the RAM badge, the lines go straight through and is a cleaner look IMO.
That must be the 6'4" bed. According to my spec sheet the 5'7" length bed Limited comes with the RAM box but the 6'4" bed does not. As of Thursday we'll start seeing road tests. I do like the Night Edition as it is an option.
For you Tungsten fans this video just came out one day ago. He also states that there is a "driving embargo" until Feb. 22. An excellent review of all the features. So, we're getting closer to the driving experience.
I can't really disagree. I've been an early adopter at times and by the time I actually get a '25 it will likely be closer to 2025 anyway. Still waiting to see the SO or HO results in the RAMS and some dealer arrivals.
The Hurricane began production at the Mexico plant in the fall of 2021 and announced in the spring of '22. Given that a lot of research and testing had to proceed the production and its been in the Wagoneers for at least a year I think most issues have been worked out before it goes into the RAM...
The sensors I'm familiar with would give a low oil warning and I imagine the process is documented by the ECU. I think the engineers thought this through years ago to prevent an engine running out of oil with damage.
Like the video pointed out you have to select the truck to match your purpose. For some of us it is road trips, medium towing, errands, small acreages, etc. I'm looking at the Limited as I don't need or want some of the Tungsten features such as sun roof. Not sure I need the HO engine which is...
