I could be wrong but
It’s based on suspension not cab size. Last I checked your quad cab has the same coil over rear and upper control arms oh and shocks too.
Now if yours has air suspension I’m not sure if that will fit.
I swear dealers can’t think outside of what people print on a piece...
It’s a pad and caliper issue. Mine did the exact same thing until I had pads AND calipers changed. 200 miles in city driving and no sound yet.

I am literally giving you the way that the problem was solved for me. If you choose to find an alternative route that causes more pain and headaches on your end then be my guest. Clearly Ram has a system for addressing this and it’s right in front of you. How they handle outside of the forums...
Send them a PM.
They helped me and my problem is solved. It’s not going to be instantaneous but they are good at making things happen with dealers that are garbage.

I’m not sure I would want that dealer touching truck but I guess we will all have to wait patiently in support and see what the outcome is

Update:
I picked my truck up and I can say that with the help of a PM on here to @RamCares I think my problem is solved.
Replicating the problem wasn’t hard
Parts were ordered and escalated in priority by @RamCares
Was able to drop off today and have drove 30 miles in city driving and have...

The weakest link is still your receiver which is rated at 1000
Add on a good WDH probably weighs 50lbs so now you have 950# to work with technically
But your limiting factor beyond your hitch and your receiver is your Payload.
