I would have to agree that this is not normal. I have had mine since April 2018 with 10,000 miles and I haven't had more than 1/2 quart low between oil changes.
Why can't you build a Laramie with level 1 and 8.4? This is the setup I have, Laramie, level 1, 8.4 screen. I don't have 20" wheels, but I don't think this is blocked by other options.
The new brakes fixed my reversing groan in the morning. This is my third set of brake pads on the truck. The first set squealed when stopping between 20-40 mph. The second set moaned and groaned backing up in the morning. Nice to drive a quiet truck finally.
